  1. Its mandatory (for me) to have a quick escape from many functions. So in PS its possible to hit "escape" on the keyboard and the actual transformation/funtion is gone. But not so in affinity photo. :-( Edit: Its built in Filter/Distort/Perspective (translated from the german version), but its not in some other essentials like the named crop-function, mesh-transformation. Please build this nice little feature in all/most functions for the next release. Thank you!
  2. Draw something (anything). Create a Symbol from it. Drag a new instance of the Symbol from the Symbol Panel but before releasing the mouse button… Hit Escape key to abort the operation. The mouse pointer changes, but the Symbol is still being dragged around. On release the Symbol is placed. Now try to drag another instance from the Symbol Panel. The Symbol is not dragged, though the mouse pointer does change. On release, no symbol is placed. Now close the document, and start again from #1 You will find that the incorrect behaviour persists. Affinity must be closed and rerun before Symbol dragging returns. Sorry GIF is a bit abrupt, but hope you can see what is happening!
  3. What I did… 1. Hold Control and click-drag on an object, as if creating a copy. 2. Before releasing the mouse button, press Escape to abort the operation. 3. The copy is created despite the operation being aborted! This may be 'by design', but I find it counter-intuitive. 4. Now select a different object. The blue outline shifts to the new selection, and the selected object in the layers panel changes… BUT the transform handles remain on the previously selected object. 5. Move the transform handles, and the selected object is targeted, but the transform is mirrored!
