  1. The current icons of the programs have those strange green - like they were made for green screen and someone missed to key them out to get rounded XD This looks very strange. I hope it get's fixed with the next update.
  2. There is an issue, when you try to delete a shortcut in the settings of the Publisher. It only appears if "text" is selected. The delete-button is placed outside the window. It isn't possible to scroll to the right or widen the window. The images shown the difference between Photo and Publisher.
  3. Here is a version of a Visual Shortcuts Explorer for all Affinity Tools, which can show up the Affinity Designer + Affinity Photo + Affinity Publisher v.1.10.5 keyboard shortcuts for Win/Mac (in English or German language), on different choosable localized keyboard layouts. AffinityKeybMapper_Capture.mp4 This is the corresponding AffinityShortcutMapper_v1.10.5.zip archive: AffinityShortcutMapper_v1.10.5.zip To use it, extract the compressed archive and navigate into the "/AffinityShortcutMapper" folder, there open the HTML page index.html locally in your default or prefered web browser and start exploring the various shortcuts! IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read the in this distribution supplied readme.txt file, in order to understand how to setup/configure/enable for a webbrowser then local file:// access rights for running the AffinityShortcutMapper locally without a static HTTP server! - For the Chrome web browser you might try instead to locally launch Chrome the below shown way (due to it's default security settings) in order to allow file:// protocol access for it ... > "C:\PathTo\Chrome.exe" --allow-file-access-from-files For Firefox setup see the distributions supplied readme.txt file! - Though the overall recommended way is to run the AffinityShortcutMapper via a http-server! See also this related posting for a ADe standalone version!
  5. I came across a visual bug that happens every time I work with both of my monitors. I have two views open, one floated on my second screen and one docked on my main screen, while I work in the Development Persona with a .nef file and everything is fine. But when I then develop the picture one view gets brighter than the other(see reference images) which must be a visual bug as the picture itself is not changing its properties. This sometimes happens on my second screen but also sometims on my main monitor and also happens sometimes when using the crop tool with dual monitors, but not as reliable. The fix I found for this is to dock and re-float the bugged view or close and reopen the view if it was already docked. I am using the newest Affinity Version 1.7.2.471 on Windows 10. 6. I added a couple of GIFs as an example of what's going on because I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. The original file is also attached to this post. Example 1 - The brush preview seem to be working incorrectly. Note that I am NOT clicking anything, just moving the mouse. The only way to get rid of the visual glitch is to zoom in or out. https://i.imgur.com/bK3SHFl.gif Example 2 - Toggling this effect causes the same or a very similar issue where the image is not updating as it should and requires me to zoom to clear the visual error. https://i.imgur.com/gRqyQUk.gif **System Information** Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362 64 Bits Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 430.86 Memory: 32GB RAM - 2x16GB 2400hz Affinity Photo version: 1.7.1.404 Melchior Toon Test.afphoto
  7. I think the snap tool need a better ways of communicating to what it snap to and better UI. Because, right now, it looked like a mess. I think about a separate windows for the snapping settings so you don't need to click to the snapping settings icon on the top every time. I change my snapping settings oftenly and it's not comfortable to always need to go to the top of the interface and look at the block of text everytime. If there is already existed a way to make it a separate window please let me know.
  8. Hi, [This is a repost of what I posted last week – somehow it missed the attention of Serif/Affinity folks. Thanks for reading! https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/37639-node-control-handles-%E2%80%93-distinguishability-in-designer/?p=187464] Request for better visual contrast between Smooth Nodes and their Control Handles. Blue Circles, all! Because the Control Handles are only distinguishable by being a bit smaller, when you've selected a bunch of nodes, it can be a real visual challenge to sort them out. It's not a big deal if you're mostly drawing straight lines. But when you draw complex, organic shapes (like sketching in vectors with a stylus), you get long lines full of nodes, and when you select them, it looks like a string of blue Christmas lights! Click attached JPG, 2 views of the same path: Top is with nodes unselected, Bottom is selected.) The Control Handles make it look like 3 times as many nodes. Personally I'd prefer if Control Handles were either - a different colour than nodes, or - a different shape, or - both. (Or customizable in Prefs!) Thanks, - pbass
  9. When using the sliders with the depth of field filter, straight line artefacts appear. These seem to be triggered as the sliders move right. Screenshot attached. v1.1.2.22568
