  1. Hello! Help me find Clone Brush Tool (analog Clone Stamp Tool in Photoshop) in Affinity Designer, please ? Or how can I implement this tool in Affinity Designer?
  2. Hello, I'm looking for option in Affinity Photo to select some area with light texture and clone stamp it to wide area but I don't want source to be moving when I paint. Is this possible to lock that position somehow or use other tool trick to solve that goal? Maybe option to create brush from that? Greetings.
  3. I tested the stamp tool on an image and I found out that stamping on current layer is accurately stamping. While Current and Below stamping is not. I've noticed that when I stamp from current or below the stamping is always a wee bit off. Not bad at all, especially to the untrained eye, but I've noticed its always been a bit fuzzy and now I see that there is some accuracy discrepancies. I hope this gets looked into.
  4. I'm facing a very weird behaviour. When using the stamp tool, the copy is not a perfect duplicate of my source, but a blurry version which is changing every pixel when I move my mouse. Does anyone has xeperiment such a thing ? To be precise, I have opacity, flow, hardness at 100%, no blend mode, no dynamic brush, nothing that alter the brush.
  5. A set of 20 high-quality ink stamp textures brushes. Add hand stamped texture to your objects with just a one click or more if needed. Vision Stamp Texture Brushes I hope you like the pack.
  6. In patch / stamp and other similiar tools where source can be set, there's option to rotate it, but what would be also useful is flipping (mirroring). That's all folks. Thank you for attention.
  7. Hello, I have created several text effects, which I would like to share with you. The first three effects are the most interesting. Effects one and two use live scattering filters and blur to create a stamping effect on normal text/fonts. The second effect adds a noise filter to simulate heavy wear, which is different one every letter. The third effect is the typical vintage 3D effect. The effects are created by layering several live filters and effects. 4 and 5 are just tests/bonus. :-) Advantage: The effects and the text remains editable. Disadvantage: Memory and processor have to work more. The recommended application is to open the text effect file in another window, enter the desired text and then copy over the group. Use the effects in your work as you like. (Public Domain) (But please don't sell the text effects as such.) Have fun, Martin Stamp-Vintage-3D-Text-Effects(Forum-Affinity-MartinB78).afphoto
  8. The clone stamp doesnt work at all. I load an image, i click on the stamp icon, i select opacity and strongest 100% i click + alt to select the source and i click a destination zone and nothing is done. Is there is a tutorial wich show this fonction ? i would like to know Thank's
  9. Is ist intended that the clone brush tool keeps showing the crosshairs at the position first selected as source as long as you don't actually paint? The moment the clone brush tool starts to copy (meaning the brush ist actually painting) the crosshairs are shown at the "relative" position. In my opinion it's a bit distractive. I'd rathe want to know where from the clone brusch will take the pixels to paint, not where I first set the selection.
  10. I've been trying to duplicate the above tutorial for 3 hours; now I hate myself. I have to run, can't explain what isn't working for me. Quickly, it's the part of the tutorial that explains how to protect the edge and a bit inside of the edge from the texture via an inner glow on a higher layer. Please help in exchange for a lifetime namaste.
  11. Is there a way to create the rubber stamp effect? Maybe a quick tool that I haven't found yet?
  12. Would like to see the preview of a stamp be placed on the screen instead of near the top options bar to see things like rotate in the preview. As it is now one can preview this stamp rotation but it resides at the top of the screen under the options bar and it can't be moved around.
  13. As soon as I press the Alt Gr-Button for increasing or decreasing the tool size with "[" or "]", the tool tip changes to the cross because of the fact, that Alt Gr is used to set the copy offset position. To see the current size of the tool tip, you have to release the keys. I suggest to use a circle in tool tip size with small cross lines to indicate the action of setting the copy offset position.
  14. Hi, I would like to create a stamp from this image and do not get it.Does anyone have a tip for me? Thank you very much
  15. I made this video to show a friend how to make a watermark by creating a custom brush. When added as a layer, click once to act like a "Stamp" Only drawback is, once saved as a PNG, you cant change the color of your text, BUT, layer "Effects" work on the layer including, resizing, rotation, etc. How to Make a Custom Brush / Watermark https://youtu.be/9QBCKDGk8X0
  16. Hello everyone! Does anyone know if there is a way in Photo to stamp alpha values? While RGB values will overwhrite A, A does not get picked up by the stamp or it will simply not overwrite RGB. Here are two images to illustrate what I am talking about: Image1, showing where I pick up colors: Image2, showing where I want to stamp: In Image2, parts of the green should be overwritten by alpha ("erased"). If this is currently not supported, could anybody move this to feature requests? Thank you for any help! Best wishes, Shu
  17. Hello again. This time I want to provide another round of suggetions for Affinity Designer Pixel Persona or for Affinity Photo for Windows: Important: - Clonning stamp/healing tool - Save selections for later use - Twist/Warp objects and textfields (like to fit a label in a bottle) - Content aware (to fill empty spaces with pixels from an image) - Effects (liquify, crystalize, clouds, etc.) - Create an editable shape from a selection and save the shapes - Dotted stroke style - Animator Persona (GIF) - Distort and Skew Tools - Save document settings (width, height, paper format, resolution, color mode) Optional: - 3D Persona (import and edit 3D models, .collada specifically from Blender) - Knife tool to cut shapes in a half - Numeric stepper or slider for the font size box - Polygonal Lasso/Selection Tool - Channels (R,G,B,Alpha, and delete/duplicate channels and making selections from them) I'm ready to purchase both AD and AP for Windows when they are released!
  18. Hi, I just downloaded the trial version today [25/09/2015] and installed it on my 2 week old iMac with Yosemite. Presently I use Photoshop Elements 9 and didn't want to spend a lot on more software for my new computer. I like the initial look and feel of the program and the fact that command-L brings up the much used levels option that I am used to. Another aspect of Photoshop that I sometimes use is the clone stamp tool and I tried this next, It works the same way as Elements in that alt-click selects the starting point and shows a little "+" as the source point. But when I start trying to clone the way I do in Photoshop nothing happens. Opacity and flow are both at their default 100% and hardness at 80%. Am I doing something wrong?
