  1. I get an error when I export a document to pdf (for print) with linked Designer files. Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.
  2. Yesterday I updated my OS to MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 (16D32). I use a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. The tablet continues to work fine in other programs, but it does not in Affinity Designer. The pointer get stuck in the top left corner with I plug the tablet in.
  3. Certain UI elements stay on screen. Even in other apps ;-). MacOS 10.12.6
  4. Since updating to Sierra, AP and AD seem to have trouble recognising when I've released a slider. The sliders also snap back to the original position they started in once I do let go. If it doesn't recognise I've left go at all, then it will continue dragging the slider around until I tap elsewhere. Macbook Pro 15", 2014, integrated graphics. Better Touch Tool installed but disabled for Affinity apps. Wacom drivers had been installed but are now removed. Tap to click and three finger drag are activated in system preferences. The Affinity apps are the only place this issue is present.
  5. Modals (such as the Document > Resize Canvas or the File > Export...) should be dismissible with the Esc key. This works fine if you bring up such a dialog and do nothing (or choose something from a dropdown) - it works as long as you don't give focus to some input box (by using the mouse). After doing that, pressing Esc key once exits the inputbox, but pressing it again won't dismiss the modal at all. The Esc key can no longer dismiss the dialog. (It's minor bug of course, but one that deters from the smooth experience - it breaks "the flow" when you work;-) ) Hope this helps -Fotis
  6. Hi, Affinity Designer Crashes instantly when I try to open an embedded document inside a .afdesign file. This happens every time, with every file and every embedded document on my 27" late 2012 IMac running Sierra 10.12.4. I attached the Apple Crash Report, thought this might be useful for you. Do you need any further information? ... despite that little Issue, I have to say I really love the new Features 1.5 is coming with! You all have done such a great job! greets peter designer-apple-crash-repor.txt
  7. I use a Macbook Pro mid 2016 running Mountain Lion (10.8.5) Two questions please 1 Will Affinity Photo 1.5.2 (updated from a earlier version which I purchased online) run on SIERRA? 2 I created a separate partition on my hard drive onto which I installed SIERRA. For me to check how well AP will run on SIERRA, I have to install AP1.5.2 on the SIERRA partition. Can this be done without having to purchase 1.5.2 again? Please consider that I bought an earlier version and upgraded to 1.5.2 Many thanks
  8. Hi. We bought and installed Affinity Designer from the Mac App Store. Whenever we try to Export a file from Affinity Designer (1.5.5), the program immediately crashes with the "Affinity Designer Quit Unexpectedly" message. We are using OS Sierra 10.12.5 (the most recent). We look at this post, but the dropbox file is not available anymore. We really need to be able to export. regards Julie LSA
  9. I just replace my MacBook for an Early 2015 and now Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer refuses to open. It shows the splash screen followed by a white box and nothing more. What's going on? I have the impression that I open both after install, change the language from "system" to english and close them. I didn't use them for a few days and now they are not working. ____ My System now: macOS Sierra 10.12.4 / MacBook Pro (Retina, 13" Early 2015) ______________________________________________ Forget about, the same happen to Preview.app... some problem with macOS Sierra probably... After a reboot everything looks fine.
  10. Dear Affinity This is a very serious bug. This crashes the whole system into black screen and only restart works, and which is more embarrassing that this bug corrupts the tiff file, which can't be opened again in any app, including AP (which crashes after I try to open again). Its happening every time I try to save or export a multilayer tiff which has been created by any other application like Lightroom (once it happened with a tiff created by AP also.). Since it is a normal photographers workflow happening ALL THE TIME that you open a raw file in an external editor, it is a very problematic bug which forces me not to use AP and not to retouch my pictures - which is nonsense. I have this problem from start of my AP use and it annoying me for more weeks now, but I was patient saying, okay I try to take cautious steps not to press apple+S but it is hard to convince your nerves to work differently rom a day to another.... I already posted twice report to apple, but I think they won't even notice. My question is strait forward: do you aware of this issue and will you post a update for this as soon as possible or should I search for another working photo editing app? Or tell me another solution which can fit in my workflow. Please tell me what logs, or information should I send to you which helps you find the reason. thank you daniel iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), Sierra 10.12.3 (16D32), AP 1.5.1., Lr 6.8
  11. Hello guys, first of all thank you for all the amazing softwares, both Designer and Photo. I'm having some troubles with the Wacom Cintiq: when I use "alt" (or any other modifier) to draw vectors on Affinity Designer with my Macbook Pro it works perfectly well, but when I press these buttons and I'm drawing on the screen of the Wacom Cintiq they don't work. Example: I want to draw a straight line, so keep "alt" pushed and it works on the Macbook pro but not on the Wacom Cintiq. The strange thing is that it works on my Mac Pro 5.1 where I still have the old OS (El Captain), but it doesn't on the laptop, where I've upgraded to Sierra. Thank you in advance for your help! PS: I'm having trouble with the upgrade of the latest version of the drivers for the Cintiq both on the macbook pro and mac pro...but still, on the mac pro everything works smooth.
  12. I used to use Apple Mail as my default mail app and love the steps that were saved by using the share feature from within the Affinity apps. Since I moved to Postbox I have lost that feature. Email sharing works in Finder, Photos, Safari, etc to Postbox but will not work in Affinity to Postbox. I talked to the Affinity developers and I think they said that sharing works differently with Affinity? I would love it if someone could get this sorted out so I could share from Affinity to Postbox like could used to do with Apple Mail.
  13. I'm getting a crash relatively consistently when I attempt to rename a new subcategory in the assets panel. Here's my process: 1. Open assets panel 2. Navigate to my set of assets 3. Create a new subcategory 4. Click rename 5. Type out the new name 6. Hit enter, crashes When I restart the application, the name is updated correctly. I'm running the most recent version of Affinity (1.5) and Mac OS Sierra on a 2014(?) 8gb SSD MacBook pro if that helps. Thanks guys and keep up the good work! Version 1.5 is amazing so far.
  14. Hi, I'm using the latest version of Affinity Designer from the Mac App Store (1.4.3) on a brand new iMac 27" with a retina display using OSX Sierra, and I'm having trouble with the bounding boxes around selected objects. Sometimes they show, sometimes they flicker on/off, and sometimes they're invisible. I'm not changing any settings such as accidentally turning them on or off, so I wondered if this was a bug with Sierra/Retina display? Anyone else having this issue? It's making it quite difficult to use the app. Cheers Michael
  15. Designer crashed after I added a large object to the Assets panel which was located on a second display. Now Designer crashes on launch and I want to uninstall before re-installing the app. Questions: Can I save all my Assets before uninstalling? Where are they stored? I am delighted with Designer and have never had any problems with it up until now. Urgently need to get it back up and running. I'm on a Mac Pro with 12gigs of Ram and lots of storage space. Sierra 10.12 - Designer 1.5.1. Many thanks for any suggestions.
