Dear fellow designers, just recently I tried to export a PDF from a Publisher document – a book cover design with an embedded .tif. I tried several job options to create a press ready PDF file, but the CMYK values of the embedded PDF always turned out different from the original file. That's quite an issue, especially if you work on a corporate design for a long running book edition, were precise color rendition is a must. To meet the deadline I had to switch back to InDesign and rebuild the whole design. As I would like to keep using Publisher in the future I am sure there must be a solution for this problem. Do you have a suggestion? Thank you very much in advance! Best, Hans

I'm having a problem with exporting a file to PDF format - There seems to be a long list of 'pre-flight' errors listed. I have placed pdf pages within frames on a planner that I am creating & this is the error message I get (see below) & a font I am using on behalf of a client looks fine on my file, but not on the file I send to my client & also jumbled up/not English? when I export (see 2nd image). When I open the file it asks me whether I want to find missing links - doesn't say what, just directs me to my desktop to look for these links, but not sure what to look for?!! Could someone please help me sort this out - I've never had this issue before, so a bit mystified as to what is going on! Many thanks.

Hello, I read through several topics but it seems that there is still no solution in exporting a pdf file with layers so that it is then correctly displayed in the pdf reader and usable for print-shops ? The Artboard tool doesn`t solve the problem as it creats only a multiple page pdf BUT STILL no multiple layer pdf? Is there a solution coming up? at this stage Affinity designer is useless for creating wide expected printing files ... Thank you
