affinity photo Photo manipulation with Photo, AP, panorama
stojames posted a topic in Share your work
I had 2 photos of castle in Varazdin Croatia. I used Affinity Photo v1 to stitch the 2 photos together. I removed myself and a friend and had to reconstruct part of lawn and walkway. I took liberty of removing someone in red from doorway. AP worked great to make the 2 photos into a single photo of the full castle. -
Hi! I'm trying to remove a diaper that is peeking out from a pair of jeans. I tried the healing brush ... cloning ... inpainting ... and no luck. It gets blurry or mixes in colors from the sweater and pants. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! New to this Snippet of image attached. (Removed face for privacy.)

I HAVE AFFINITY ON TRIAL.TO MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN THIS AND PHOTOSHOP! HAVE READ & FOLLOWED THE THE TUTORIALS AND FORUM ANSWERS, BUT CANNOT FIND THE INPAINTING TOOL. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENS IS ERASE TOOL MAKES A SELECTION. ALSO THE CROP TOOL WONT JUST CROP TO ENLARGE THE AREA OF THE PHOTO REQUIRED, IT JUST MAKES THE PHOTO SMALLER WITHIN A CRIS CROSS BOX! I AM INEXPERIENCED IN USING THIS TYPE OF PROGRAMME, HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP

Stacking Object Removal is already an amazing function in Affinity Photo. For complex objects in front it would be an extremely advantage, to have also the opposite. A demo what I mean shown with a not so complex object: 1. Background 2. Background and Object 3. After AP enhanced by new feature "Stacking Background Removal": Add this and PS is doomed. ;) Best regards, Roland

I have an image where I need to remove a wall-outlet right next to a dress and I am having a ridiculous time getting a clean removal. (Yes, I know I should have moved her over 3 inches and this would not be a problem...the first few shots taken all was well and then they must have moved and I didn't pay attention and these were the ones where they looked the most adorable...wedding day rushes with the little ones :-) I worked for literally three hours trying to use the different options: healing, inpainting, patch, etc and I had to do several things to get it removed and it is not even a clean removal. I am attaching the image and if you would be so kind as to tell me how to go about this, I would be super grateful. For some reason, I am unable to attach the image...it won't let me. I can try to upload a different way if you share how. Thanks so much! Amy
