  1. Hi all, I can't be sure I'm not missing something, but it seems that when exporting a multiple-artboard document via the Export persona I'll always get a single page giant PDF, while when using the Export dialog I always get a mutliple-page document (which is actually what I want). So... can I use the Export persona to get a multiple-page PDF at all? Thanks in advance for any insights.
  2. In Designer, I'm trying to set up a document with two pages for print, this is what I am doing.. File > New > [Type: Print, Size: A4, Create Artboard: Checked] Choose artboard tool, click "Insert Artboard" I now have two A4 pages in the document. On the first page, add text "P1", on the second page add text "P2". File > Print > [Range: document, uncheck auto rotate, set to portrait, fit type scale, 100%, ensure that printer is set to A4] > OK I only get one page out of the printer containing the second half of P1 and the first half of P2. The print preview in Designer shows this as the output, and indeed it does print like it. It doesn't matter what I try, different printers, drivers, duplex on or off, Designer will put every page (artboard) in the design document onto a single printed page. I would expect two sheets to come out (or one duplex if set). I'm on windows 10, Designer version 1.6.2.97 from the Windows Store. Am I just going about this the wrong way? I would assume that using an artboard per page is the correct approach, but maybe I'm missing something here? Thanks. Barry
  3. Reading the AD forums regarding the ability to create multi-page documents is unlikely to happen as this would be a feature for Publisher when it is released. But what about the ability to export to PDF docs that are open in Designer to create a multi-page document. I am working on a two sided and four sided spread and while building each page in Designer is relatively simple, getting the PDF's created for the print shop is a regal pain. But if there was a PDF export option where would select "all open file" that would do the job as well as not infringing too deeply on the Publisher design goals. The same logic could also be applied to Photo as well. Possibility? MK
  4. When opening a multi-page PDF, it puts each page into a separate layer titled "Page X", Once finished working on that file, would it be possible to re-save it as a PDF with the same page structure?
  5. Hi there, I was wondering... is it possible to edit / create multi page image files (in particular, I'm keen to edit multi-page tiff files) for use as retina / non-retina icon files on a Mac? I've also not figured out why my tiffs are losing transparency on export, but I guess that should be a different thread? Thanks, Rog
