  1. Hi, I have used Photo v1 and v2, there is a mistranslation for the panel scope. The french word has not the meaning intended. I guess the translator didn't had the context of that word. The first use of scope means space, range.. And this is how the french translation "Étendues" is used. However the second meaning of scope defines the view display of a device. I suppose the meaning is the second one. Could the scope panel be renamed for example "Range" ? A better named for that panel has not direc translation of scope in this case and one should be consider an interpetation: "Vues" (plural), meaning Views / Viewers / Displays Hope this helps. Regards
  2. Hi, I was working on a document in French with the auto hyphenation enabled. All seems to be good, except for two words that are wrong. I wonder, is there is a way to let Publisher know that a particular document is in French? Would that have avoided these two errors. électron-ique instead of électro-nique postdoctor-ales instead of postdocto-rales Thanks!
  3. When I fly with the mouse above the little colour squares in the Sample window, It always indicates the same value in all the squares (it does not happen on the english version; I checked) >> N 95 in the gray scale and T:0 S:90 S:50 in the colour window. ------------------------------------ Il y a une anomalie d'affichage dans la fenêtre des échantillons de Publisher 1.7.2.471. Quand on survole les carrés de couleurs (niveaux de gris ou couleur) on a toujours la même indication : N 95 pour les gris et T:0 S:90 S:50 pour la couleur. Ce défaut n'est pas sur la version anglaise .
  4. Hi folks, Using Publisher is allready almost delightfull! I remember when jumping from QXpress to InDesign, lots of glitches and frustrations where poping on screen again ans again: here NOT! I had some troubles with the search and replace, though, but I guess it was my way of clicking too many times on the "Replace all" button. ;/ As small editor, one thing would made of Publisher THE total ID killer: Antidote integration. As you probably all know, typography is a quite demanding matter (and maybe in french printing even more? - Or at least with different glyphs) and transfering text is sometimes a play with lots of unwanted changes. Is this feature in the pipeline already, or will it be in a near future?

  6. When I switch to French, the ‘Commands > Pasteboard’ submenu (« Commandes > Table de montage ») offers « Coller » (‘Paste’) twice. The second entry should be the French equivalent of ‘Paste Inside’. Additionally, the list of languages under Preferences is not alphabetical. With the language set to English, I see them in the following order: Default Japanese (Japan) French German Italian Russian Spanish English Portuguese (Brazil) English (United States) Chinese (simplified) It’s far from obvious why Japan is specified for Japanese, given that it doesn’t say ‘French (France)’ or even ‘English (UK)’.
  7. Hi, in the French version for HAZE, "Suppression de flou" should perhaps be "Suppression de Brume"
  8. On the French version of the Affinity Store at https://affinity.store/fr/ the dropdown list offers the Affinity Designer Workbook in French (Français) or German (Allemand) but the workbook is currently only available in English or German.

  10. Hi, In the "Configuration" (Setup menu) the oppened window title should read "Configuration du document" instead of "Document Setup" When we change the unit PIxel to Points, we don't see any difference in the measures, same size are showed for both (it's only happened in the Setup panel), I've tried with a new document and the size change between Pixels and Points without problem.
  11. Hi, In the preferences panel, the unit "Points" has been change for "Branches" in french, it should stay "Points" (same as english)The Tootip Delay as no indication for the user, I think that you should add a time indicator or a test button..
  12. Hi, Please note that in the french version the OCIO sub menu is missing... see attachement.
  13. I chose English as my Affinity Photo UI preferred language. My main OS chosen language, however, is Canadian-French. When I want to access Help from its menu, I get the Canadian-French version, which is not ...helping. Now, I can switch the OS language to English but then the keyboard mapping is all messed up. Any ideas?
  14. Bonjour à tous, Hello everyone, 1st post ever on the Affinity forum. I just wanted to share my first Affinity Photo drawing and work in progress with all of you and a little review that will be posted for the months to come. So, let see the drawing wip first : Plus a nice layer workflow screenshot in detail : Here is the recorded time laps from yesterday : Last but not least, here is a kind of teaser for the french users/readers around that launches my deep investigations on Affinity Photo. That's all for today :) richarre P.S. : the early sketches looked like this : and this
