Being new to affinity designer, I couldn't make the decision on how to fill only parts of this vector. I'd like it to stay a vector instead of rasterizing it for paint mode, some im curious on how I can select only parts of the inside of vector id like to fill, as it is black and white and I would like to keep the middle parts of this rose transparent, well I fill the outline around it. Thank you, N0hva

Hello, I drew a pair of spectacles with the curve tool. I started with the outline of the frame, then i drew each of the lenses. Now I want to fill it with colour, so that only the frame is coloured while the lenses stay transparent - like glasses are. But instead of only the frame the whole space is filled, including the lenses. I tried several approaches, but no one did work. How can I do it right? I'm new in AD. Maybe the solution is super easy, but in the moment in can't see it. File is attached Thank you. Brille.afdesign

Stroke aligned inside + filling creates artifacts
MrDoodlezz posted a topic in (Pre 1.7) Bugs on Mac
Hey guys, I ran into this »bug« – if it is one. I’m currently working on icons on a 128 px² base. When I set an object – say a rectangle with rounded corners – with a white filling and a greenish stroke I get what appears to be artifacts of some kind. Seems like the white is shining through the contour. Though I'm not sure it’s a bug or this is just how it’s working. Anyone has any ideas how to fix this? Cheers Dennis :) -
Please let us know if the affinity software is better to use than photoshop& or coral . We need to trace our creation's outlines & fill in them different fabrics, textures.
