  1. Heyahey, I didn't found anything about this, but I got to post this and it would be a great feature for all Affinity Products and not just Designer on MacOS... Live-Preview and commenting on Affinity files. The problem now: I want to share what I've designed... this is how it goes... Usually sending a customer a preview ends up with something like this: Screenshots with v1, v2, v3.1.3.2.3.4 _finali0hf0shfpa It's a a mess, it's unorganized and even I don't get it after a while... How would Live-Preview look like: I'm making a Social Media Document for a customer with artboards, stuff outside artboards, ... , but since the normal customer is easily overwhelmed by the normal software UI and I don't want to send my whole master Document, I want so share what I designed with him easily. So I upload the Document, share a Link and the customer has a limited web-view of what I've designed. This means: Viewing Design Option to choose if stuff outside artboards will be shown or not Commenting and setting some hot-spots (Version history) Full-Screen Preview I want to set comment points on my design to describe something, without "direct embedding" them into the design And: If I could see the comments while editing in Affinity, Live and in real-time. Would. Be. Killer. I guess for this feature it would be nice to have two document "workspaces": - Approved document (the shared one) - In-Work document (What I'm actually working on, I don't want the customer to stalk me in my working 😐😀) For those who are wondering. Yeah, I more or less simply described how Figma does it... But I have to say: This is awesome. Time-saving and dumb easy for me and the person I share the design with. And: I would pay for this. Monthly. With pleasure more than 20 €. But it "just needs to work". Give a thumbs up if you would love to see this, because I would! 👍 BTW: We should have a category for feature requests and questions/topics here which are not dedicated to one of the programs. -Alex
  2. Hello, I'm new here and I've heard a lot about Affinity's powerful ability as an real alternative for Graphic designers who want to avoid Adobe and their strictly, monthly payment model (which is not only a cost thing, but also something regarding their flexibility/accessibility). Just keep in mind: This is not a question about whether Affinity will release their new Update (v1.6) and what to expect or what features are going to be released. This is more a general question about Affinity's product line. From what I understand is, Affinity will publish a third beta program called "Affinity Publisher", which will also represent the complete "Graphic Suite" of Affinity, right? That means, there are no plans to bring out more program packages, but rather more tools that will be implemented in each programs of Affinity's Suite depending on their speciality? (sorry, for my poor english - it is not my native language) So if there are no subscriptions and free Updates, how can customers know up to which version they are going to have free updates? I know updates and upgrades are two different things, but in this case it is indeed a little confusing, since Affinity is offering their products free from subscriptions. So what's the big picture here? :)
