Hi, A growing number of my customers are requesting paint colours from the colours used in their designs. My local Decorating Centre offer their own conversions for Pantone colours, however not all of these colours are exact, and offer their closest matches. Iv'e come across a colour pallet plugin which will help me with this problem, however I was not sure which of the six plugin options, if any, are compatible with Affinity products. Specifically Affinity Designer. I have attached a screenshot of the options as a file. If anyone can assist with my query, it would be a massive help. Thank you.
Hi everyone, can anyone help us please ? In my architectural company, my Collegues have develloped a smart workflow using Autocad and Photoshop, to easily bring Changes, that happen all the time , Back to Photoshop... in Autocad they can print all whised layouts with the needed objekts automaticaly to a folder. in Photoshop they combine the plotted pdfs to a Photoshop document.. the layer in Photoshop get their colour by a fill layer, so they doesnt have to care about colors in Autocad and are much more precice and flexible to change their Photoshop layer to the exakt color they need. No i tried to reproduce this in Affinity Photo. Everything worked fine, untill i try to use the embedded pdf file to mask my fill layer. Affinity still tells me that the now embedded pdf , used as the mask for my fill layer, is an embedded dokument, but i am no more able to use the "Replace" Button. This is essential for us for a flexible autocad - or revit- to affinity workflow... it saves us about half an hour to two hours of recombining the affinity layout, using the replacd button.. but in affinity it seems not to work... any ideas, or workarounds ? Here i pose some immages..
Hi, Would it be possible to make multiple "linked" copies of an object or a group so that when you modify one, all of them are changed? This could work like the "components" feature in Trimble Sketchup or the "Blocks" in AutoCAD. This would be useful especially for headings and footers, symbols, logos, page layouts, etc. This feature would be a first - in my knowledge - in graphic-orientated drawing software, and a huge improvement to my workflow! Thanks for your awesome work, Daniel
Finally found the right page... Would be very grateful if Serif could implement filters in AD for the file types above. Many clients are only able to provide files in these formats. Conversion to pdf and importing is a workaround, but adds a large amount of time to completing a drawing/project. Thanks.
