  1. Hi, would it be possible to integrate pngquant (https://pngquant.org) for exporting PNG files? It allows to create 8 bit, indexed PNGs but with full 8 bit alpha channel. Files are thus very small but still retain full transparency and great quality (in most cases) through indexing and dithering.

    Bad Export Size ...

Hi all, i'm not sure if its a bug or a feature, but i just discovered something horrible for a performance oriented Web Dev. Exporting a simple semi transparent Square tuns up to be 31x times bigger than a equivalent Photoshop export. Here are the raw numbers: shade01.png: Export Photoshop and cleaned with ImageOptimize: 366 Byte shade02.png: Export AFDesigner and cleaned with ImageOptimize: 11485 Byte As a worst case scenario, my websites would take 31 times longer to load because of unfortunately large AFDesigner exports. Hopefully i'm just to stupid to do a proper AFDesigner Export, but i tried to check for differences that matter (like DPI, Canvas Size, embedded Profiles etc.) and could not find major "stupidities". Are there any? Please leave a feedback! In case of me not doing anything wrong: Affinity, please fix this issue! Greets, Chris
