    marquee select nodes bug?

I apologize if this has already been reported but searching this forum on "marquee select nodes" did not find anything relevant about it. Anyway, in both Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo, if a curve is a straight horizontal line that has multiple co-linear nodes (as below), dragging a marquee with the Node tool does not work -- no nodes are selected. If the line is not perfectly horizontal or has one or more nodes offset vertically even slightly from the others, it works as expected. horizontal line.afdesign
  2. Hi, Can't select certain nodes using marque selection ( see attached video), but you can select them by shift clicking them directly. Regards, Matej marque node selection issue.wmv
  3. I thought I had seen this issue before but I can't seem to locate it searching bugs. When any line is exactly horizontal or vertical the marquee can not select a node. If the line is angled using the transform panel by 0.0001 degrees then the marquee can select the nodes. If the virgin line is rotated in any way using the move tool, then rotated back to be at 0 degrees then the nodes can be selected via the marquee. After that I have not been able to get the line so that the marquee can not select the nodes. If the virgin line is rotated using the node tool, then rotated back to be exactly horizontal or vertical then the nodes can not be selected via the marquee.
  4. I am trying to move the center portions of the figure shown (the left edge of the rectangle along with the right endpoint of the line) while keeping the outer points fixed. No problem in AI: marquee select the center of the figure then move all selected nodes simultaneously. I couldn't manage to achieve this in Affinity, even if the nodes are selected as indicated in the attachment. Any idea what's wrong?
  5. Purpose: Fixes Status: Release Candidate - Gold Master (again!) Requirements: Purchased Affinity Designer Mac App Store: Submitted Download: Here To use this beta, simply download the file from the link given above and double-click on the file to open the installer. Follow the instructions to install the beta version. The beta sits alongside the Mac App Store version and will not interfere with it. Please note that if you use features which are only present in the Beta version then save your document, it will no longer open in the Mac App Store version. This is a Release Candidate and desperate last minute update build. It is our intention to submit this for review to Apple in the first week of December. Any help you could offer to stabilise and refine the product at this stage will be very gratefully received :) We won't be implementing any new features now for this version and we will be focusing on stabilising the product for the immediate future. We will obviously start adding more features again as soon as this update goes live. Fixes - Fixed colour profiling / conversion in all UI elements. - Fixed terrible issues with everything going blue in Separated Mode. - Fixed slow (very slow) export to Photos app using “Share” option. - SVG Import - deal with rgba() declarations properly.
