  1. I would like you to apply the new option "Limit initial zoom to a maximum of 100%" to the image after cropping/resizing also.
  2. I am trying to see on my screen my image in the actual print size -- I mean the size it would be if it was printed -- on both the Affinity Photo and Designer programs for iPad. Can't seem to find it - I found the navigator function displaying the view at 100% but I am not sure that means that it is print size? Also, I would like to be able to change the DPI of the image. I found how to do it from Affinity Photo desktop (under resize) but not on the iPad version. I am trying to have 300DPI for my image, and I need the program to resize the file accordingly as I don't know how many pixels that would be. Thank you.
  3. Hi, I have a pixel layer that is transparent although it is at 100 opacity. there's no effects on the object. I drew a vector shape over it in another layer, made a selection from that object, inverted selection, selected the layer I wanted to cut out en pressed delete. The vector shape was transparent, but the selection was clearly around the edges. I've been browsing around on the topic but can't figure it out. What am I missing?
  4. I am noticing an odd bug. I created a document at 280x70 pixels at 72dpi. When I view the image at 100% in Affinity Photo it is not the actual size. When I export the file as a PNG or JPG it is the correct size. I am attaching a screenshot showing the Photo doc (left) and the PNG opened in Preview on the right. Anyone know why they are not the same and how to fix it? Thanks.
  5. Hi, I have a problem. I'm working with a Macbook Pro, Retina, 13 '' , at this time my monitor is on 1440 * 900 Pixels. In Affinity Photo in 100% should 1 Pixel be 1 Pixel. But Affinity Photo shows more than 2700 * 1200 which is more than the maximum capacity of the 13'' Retina (which has maximum 1680 * 1050 Pixel. It is a problem if i prepare photos for Websites, because in Safari the pics are normal size, in Affinity photos, due to the big resolution, the photos are half size of what they should be (View 100% Pics with 72 dpi) Any help? Mike
  6. Just a minor suggestion about the CTRL 1 and CTRL 0 keys to display the image at 100% or 'fit on screen'. From a logical viewpoint I can see that CTRL 1 makes sense for 100% and I guess that CTRL 0 in this context makes sense for 'fit on screen'. However from a practical point of view toggling between these 2 displays is something that tends to be done quite a lot during the processing phase of the workflow. The ability to simply use one hand to CTRL 1 to show the image at 100% works very well. However when I want to go back to 'fit on screen' I have to either use 2 hands to use CTRL 0 or use my left hand to do this, which is much more difficult (I have tried it and it's very awkward). If the CTRL 0 was replaced with CTRL 2 (for example) this would mean that it would be very easy to toggle between 100% and 'fit on screen' with one hand. This would simplify the processing and make it more efficient.
  7. Hi, I am using latest version of Serif Affinity Photo, 1.7. For 100 percent enlargement of image, I tried 'alt - control - 0',but it doesn't work. However, 'control-0' reduces the image to the screen size alright. I use windows 10 home edition. Please help.
  8. Hi, I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't find it from a quick search. Basically, zooming in and out with the mouse wheel you'd expect the zoom levels to snap to 100% and logical numbers (like 5%, 10% or 25% differences etc) but sometimes the zoom level goes to things like 96% instead of 100% forcing me to have to change the zoom value manually to 100 again. I'm on the latest stable version of Affinity photo. I can't be the only one irritated by this inconsistency. I know it sounds minor but it's super annoying. It seems to only be with mouse wheel while right clicking and clicking zoom in/zoom out use decent values. I looked in preferences but couldn't find anything related to it. EDIT; attached an image of what I mean, just some screenshots showing the kind of zoom values you get from using the mouse wheel. The most annoying part is you may not even be using the zoom tool at the time meaning you have to switch to the zoom tool just to set it back to a decent value like 100%. The blurryness in the photo is because I took the second screenshot while cropping the first so you can see how it looks when the zoom isn't perfect.
  10. Hi guys, Is there a shortcut to ZOOM TO 100%? Other programs have Ctrl+0, is there such a feature in Affinity Designer? Thank you, Chris
  11. I'd like to have an option for not to enlarge photos over 100% in batch job when I specify W or H size. I use batch job for resizing photos for web and I want to resize only for big ones, not enlarge smaller ones to reach W or H size.
