  1. Hey there, I got an issue with designer when exporting some art boards. They tent to not have the same pixel amount as my art board. I have added a screenshot to show what I mean. This really bothers me and It would be great if you could fix this :) Thank you, Nushara
  2. AFPUB 1.7.3, OS X 10.13.6. This is more of a visual nuisance than anything else, except when you need to be accurate when you "point and click". I've noted that there are a number of situations where the cursor should change based on its position, but it does not. Not clicking, just moving. For example, you might be using the Frame Text Tool so your cursor is a cross-hair with a "T" and if you move the cursor over to the "Tools" menu (left side, usually) the cursor might not change to a pointer.   3. Whenever I import a PNG file, colors are all off... at first I thought it had something to do with my color settings, but then I realized that if I imported the same image on JPG the colors were right.

  5. Months ago I bought a Canon Pixma Pro-100 and started using Affinity Designer. My artwork came off the printer looking nearly identical to what I saw on the screen. I was very, very excited. Now I don't know what has happened, but everything that comes off the printer looks like crap. The colors are WAY off.   6. Hi, I'm wondering why Affinity Photo and Designer are opening PDF file in different colour than I can see it on MacOS native Preview app? File is package print design I got from client in PDF format. I believe it has been made originally using Illustrator. When I open it in Designer I see extra red layer with blending mode multiply over graphic layer. Not sure what is it's purpose. Any idea what I'm dealing with? Best, Juha
  7. The Background colour sliders in the Character panel will not update as you change the colour, see attached image to better understand what I mean. If the popup is closed and opened again the correct colour will show. Thanks!
  8. Hello everyone! Sometimes I need to offset an image on X and Y by 50%. After doing this, I need to get it back to its original offset (null). Most of the time, this works with just using 50% offset a second time, but sometimes I am running into a weird issue: The layer seems to get offset by a weird value (or maybe Affine doesn't offset the whole layer?). The only way around this is to use Affine on X and Y by -50% each. But I cannot use negative numbers to create a Macro for this. Anyway, I shouldn't even have to use negative values because when 50% twice

  10. Hello, I have a issue when copying files from and to Illustrator. When copying geometry from Ilustrator to Affinity Designer it reduces the scale. Example: 10 mm in AI > 2,4mm in Affinity Designer. When copying geometry from Affinity to Illustrator it reduces the size about 20 percent <<< solved by setting "copy as svg" in Affinity Someone has a solution? Thanks and best regards pseudox

If I make a marquee selection, :: Pause :: It still has that problem where I have to change tools and come back to the marquee tool to manually transform the dimensions :: UnPause :: then copy flattened, then create a new file from clipboard, it is inexplicably larger than the selection by exactly 2 pixels. So if I make my selection sized 1280 px by 720 px, in a document sized 1920 px by 1080 px, then create a new document from that selection, the new document is 1282 px by 722 px.   12. Hi- I'm a cinematographer and I just bought Affinity based on the fact that it offers video-style waveform and vector scopes. That's huge for me as I often shoot stills as proof-of-concepts for commercial shoots and I need to quickly manipulate them to show to a client and director, and no other stills program (or at least none that I'm aware of) has exposure controls that allow me to evaluate and correct exposure and color so easily and consistently across photos. But: The vectorscope layout is whacked. Red should be at the top around 11:30. Blue should be roughly at 3:00. Green shoul
  13. Hey guys! Im setting up my document for wallpaper creation - (sidenote) I think we need all apple devices in, not just mobile. It would be nice to have iMac 5K, iMac 4K, 15" MBP Retina as options and iPad Pro 9.7 Anyways. When I did Device>iPad Pro>Insert Artboard - It gave a resolution higher than 5K Same goes for iPhone 6 Plus, 6, and 5 It would be nice to get the exact resolution that the website details.   14. Hi there, I have the Affinity Designer 1.4 and I tried to add a color that I copied from my site using the hex and the rgb and it comes out really wrong. And now I just tried it in Affinity Photo 1.4 and it works perfectly. I also tried it with another color and same thing happens. I have attached screenshots for both. The green I want is the one showing in affinity photo. Am I missing something in the settings? Thanks for your help.
  15. Hi- I just realized that the gain control under the scopes menu does not function the way a video person would expect gain to function. "Gain" means amplify or magnify the displayed signal, not increase graticule brightness. For example, it's common for those of us in the video world to look at a vectorscope in 2x gain mode, which zooms into the scope by 100%. This is due to the fact that real world hues are rarely saturated enough to fill the scope. Also, the most commonly used test charts in video, the DSC Labs Chroma Du Monde series, are printed at 50% saturation due to limitations
