Doesn't Affinity Designer have a width tool that behaves like Illustrators? Like demonstrated in this video. All tutorials I find are for varying the brush pressure with the little pop out window. Unfortunately that won't cut it for my use. Thanks! -
Hey! im trying to figure out how to make this kind of graphic without pulling my hair out and going nuts. I’ve tried with illustrator but can’t make it perfect. Anyone have any quick help to offer? The “E” image is the most relevant in this case, but I will have to try and make illustrations such as the colorful image. kind regards, gmann

Just follow these steps, to get you started, play around with it, Granted it take practice, however once you, figure it out its easy as Pie...;) Once you get it, it is easy as pie
