I've searched the forum best I could on this problem with no results. I tried to create a macro to add copyright info to images. AP gives me an alert indicating text cannot be applied using this method. Really?? Please don't tell me I have manually add copyright text to 25, 50 or more images. Anyone find a way to do this using A P? -
Hello! I just watched a fantastic YouTube video about how to use batch to add watermark to a lot of photos at once*. I tried to use it on a pdf I created using Designer, and it added the watermark to the first page only. I then tried the same batch job using a Designer file, and it did not work at all. Is there a way to do a batch to add watermarks to every page of many Designer files at once? Thank you! *ETA: using Affinity Photo -
Hey everyone, I'm new to Affinity Publisher and I'm trying to remove a watermark layer that was created by the person who held the role before me. We no longer need the watermark layer and it is in about 200+ pages. Is there a way to pin point the same water mark layer all throughout the entire document and just delete it in one go instead of going through each one and deleting it? Or is there a way better way to do this? I'm open to suggestions 😀 -
Hi, I have created a basic black PNG watermark and loaded it onto a new image brush. So far so good -- it applies. My understanding is, as this is a brush, I should be able to set the colour, e.g. white. But nothing I do changes the colour when I apply the brush. What am I missing here? -

Here is my latest piece of poetry laid out using Affinity Publisher. Firstly the Morality.wmf was placed and rotated on the master page with a whit rectangle covering it using an opacity of 75%. I applied an Affinity Photo live filter (depth of field) adjusting the clarity and radius and using an average blend mode. Then on the main page I used artistic text for the title and imported the Morality.png to complete the title effect. Centring and grouping the elements together. I then copied the text of the poem from WordPerfect X6 and pasted it into a new text frame. I altered the text style to body text and adjusted the point size to 18. I right justified the signature copyright line and resized the text frame so it just fit the poem. I then aligned the text frame to the centre of the page and moved it down by eye until it looked good enough, I used PagePlus X9 for the bloody filter effects as I couldn't achieve the result I wanted in Publisher. Is there a way to insert/create a copyright/watermark in Affinity Photo please? -
Hi I know there have been topics on batch processing but I keep hitting a problem, I'm wanting to resize and watermark my photos to send to clients, but when recording the macro it says it can not record the save instruction in the macro. is there a workaround for this, as it basically means you can not do any batch processing even though the option is there.

Hello, I`m looking for software that can make invisible watermarks using blue channel. Currently it`s possible with photoshop, but a bit time consuming. (here you can find detailed information about invisble watermark - http://jimchristensenphotography.com/jcp.php?m=502 ). I`m reading that Affinity Photo have great features and could be nice alternative for photoshop. It offer powerful batch processing option. Just wonder, if it`s possible to add text to images in Affinity Photo software using (blue channel). This would be great benefit. Thanks, Dmytro. -
When importing an existing watermark, i.e., dropped the watermark onto the image and it now appears as a layer, at this point what is the easiest way to size it and position it? Is there a way to keep the setting, so one doesn't have to do this all the time? -
Hi I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to batch watermark photos with different dimensions. I want my watermark in the right-hand corner on the bottom of every photo. I've tried looking and can't find what I'm looking for. -
Hi folks, I'm new to editing and have to first off say WOW! I love Affinity. I'm about halfway through the tutorial videos and loving how the learning is coming together. It was a bit daunting at first but I'm already surprised at the sort of stuff I can do. This is probably a silly Q about watermarks. I watched the tutorial (excellent!) and made myself a snazzy watermark but what is the best way of saving it down so I can import it into other photos? It is two text layers. Can I just save these layers somehow and import them (possibly after merging)? Also is there a way to 'batch' apply the watermark to, say, a few hundred photos that I take at a sporting event, without opening each one up and doing some work? Thank you! Steve. -
Does anyone know the best way to create a watermark on a transparent background? I've been able to create a watermark on an individual photo. However, I'd like to design a watermark that I can use on every photo I create. Selling my photos online is my goal; but I don't want to post any photos unless they have a watermark on them. Zenfolio allows its users to add a watermark. If I could create a single watermark on a transparent background, then Zenfolio would add the watermark to each photograph. I haven't had any luck using the clipboard. Also, is there a way to create a macro of a watermark? That would be helpful because you could create a macro and then use in batch processing. Could anyone shed some light on this issue? Any feedback would be appreciated. -
So is there an easy way to to drop a watermark on to an image, then resize it. In PS I could take my custom watermark, which is in a PDF format, drop it on the image, resize it and that was it. Thinking it should be rather simple in AF as well, or hoping at least. Also I'm using 1.5 Beta v6.

Hi, As a programmer and photo editor for social media I suggest the development of export with watermark PNG like Lightroom have and without creating a marker (current solution). I also sugest a solution to export to Instagram like lrinstagram for Lightroom. It's easy with their API (no, instagram's API is not always changing). Do this and you have lots of users changing from Photoshop + LightRoom to Affinity Photo Thanks

I made this video to show a friend how to make a watermark by creating a custom brush. How do I turn a photo into a watermark in Affinity Photo? My objective is to use the photo watermark as a backdrop on a report I'm writing. Hello, My name is Kuba, I'm from Poland, and i work in local Radio. When working on my materials for job, i have to make not only audio recordings, but also some photos for online post at our website. I'm doing best i can, and recently my friend told me to start signing my photos, so everyone can know who's the author. Trust me, it's very important to have signed photos. My mentioned friend got a better job, because he was signing his photos, and somebody found him this way... Lets go back to my topic. When i'm adding some simple text i often have some problems. Some pictures are different size, because of necessary cropping, and pasting puts them in some weird locations. same applies for vertical photos. They are not so common, but sometimes i have to do something in portrait mode, so i have to add watermark by hand, and it's not very precise. When you're scrolling through the online gallery, and all watermarks are in different places and sizes it looks very cheap and unprofessional. I'd love to see some simple tool for watermarking witch would allow me to: - Add preset watermark to picture; ^ In set place(i.e. 10% of picture from bottom and 10% of picture from right. Every picture is different resolution, so pixels might not work for watermarking) - Set global size of my watermark (So that regardless of resolution watermark always looks the same, i.e. 5% of picture overall space) I mean by this, that for example my watermark is set in lower right corner with 10% of picture border from bottom and right. and in picture in 1000x1500 it takes as much overall space in % as in 4000x6000 resolution picture. Sorry for my not perfect english, as i mentioned i'm from Poland... Feel free to comment, add suggestions, your experiences or tips for watermarking in the comments section. If you think this could be a great tool, but have something more specific to add, say it! Maybe someone at Affinity will read this and give us a great tool? Who knows...

What would be the proper way to create a watermark in AFFINITY DESIGN ( never used AD) and export it to use with the place command in AFFINITY PHOTO. OK It is an affinity design question :-) .... but since you ONLY offer this as a watermark solution ( AP video tutorials......!!!! ) Thanks, cheers
