  1. I just downloaded the Affinity Photo trial and so far like what I see, but there is one little problem I encountered after installing the Nik plugins. I am still using the Google Nik version and have not upgraded to the DXO version (in case that may be a factor in the problem). All the plugins work well except for Viveza 2. When I go to that from Affinity Photo, there is a bad color shift in the image to the point that the plugin is not useful. Is there a way to correct that or is it because I am using the old Google Nik set and would have to upgrade to the DXO version, which I am not planning to do at this time. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Jim Lawrence
  2. I think a filter thats works like viveza from google would be very helpfull in Affinity Photo. j3rry
  3. I've been using the nik plugins (sharpeners and color Efex) successfully for many months. I've just decided to have a go at using viveza but have had to give up. When a file is loaded into the plugin all the colours are wrong. I've read about a problem in the windows forum and have tried the suggestions in there to no avail. The colours displayed in the loupe window appear to be correct though. Just thought I'd better flag up that there is a problem with the Mac version as well as the Windows one. A great shame as would be great to be able to use the plugin.
  4. When exporting from either LR or Capture One 9 the image that appears in Affinity Photo for WIndows 1.51 has the correct color and appears to have all the adjustments included. However, when using the NIK plugin in Affinity the image colors are much darker and has a blue cast and the image appears flat. I have repeated this with several images with the same results. I have had to return back to PS cc when using NIK as Color Efex and Viveza are basically useless when used in Affinity Photo for Windows. Thanks Bob
  5. Using Affinity Photo 1.5.1 on a Mac. I reinstalled the free Google Nik collection today (I had it installed before, but it disappeared after the 1.5 update). Made sure I followed all instructions carefully, authorised globally etc. AP Preferences show Analog Efex Pro 2 and Color Efex Pro 4 as 'Working', the rest is marked as 'Unknown'. Analog and Color Efex do, in fact, work, and so do Silver Efex and HDR Efex. But Dfine, Viveza, and the two Sharpeners just crash. I know others have reported Viveza crashing when setting a control point, but for me it already crashes when simply trying to open it. Affinity Photo just closes in an instant, and I get a macOS message that it quit unexpectedly. I was under the impression that all of the Nik plugins are supposed to work in AP 1.5 (with some bugs still to be sorted out)? Additionally, when opening the filters that do work, I get a prompt to buy them, or initiate the 15-days demo. That is despite the Nik collection now being free, and me having downloaded the files after they became free. I would be grateful for any advise :)
  6. I started with Nik collectin inside Lightroom. I have problem have to save edited photos with Nik exported to Lightroom or how to convert it? Could you quote the right procedures to make it?
