  1. Hello all, Currently completing an ID Card project, which includes a headshot that has been masked by a rectangle (the image has also been cropped to match the size of the rectangle - I shall explain later). However, when I export using SVG, I lose the image on re-opening the .svg file. I cropped the headshot due to the fact that when only the mask is applied, and I've exported to SVG, the image has loses it's mask when opening the new file. Is there anyone that can advice me on what I'm doing wrong? I've also attached an image of my SVG export settings.
  2. I use Affinity Design to make geometries for laser cutters. My designs often have double cuts in the design. These double cuts are being translated from my design through a server based software system from GlowForge Inc. I've talked with them and they're showing me in there software that I have double lines on many designs. However I cannot see that same details in Affinity Design. There are several of us having the same problem. I see this as being a common issue on the GlowForge Community site. There must be a way to detect and or scan and remove all double lines from any design. Thanks so much for your urgent attention. Jericho Gallery IG @jericho_gallery Gen-4Layout.svg

  4. Good evening, I have been trying to use Affinity Photo but it's not opening. I delete it and install it again, but the problem remains. I also have Affinity Designer and Publisher, but this ones are working fine. Actually if I open the file from Affinity Publisher and from there I go to Affinity Photo, then I can use it, but this is not how it's suppose to work, isn't it?. This is really urgent, please reply as soon as possible. Technical details: MacBook Air 11inch mid 2012; Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6; Affinity Photo 1.8.3
  5. Hello! I would love to use Affinity Designer for in our workplace. However, until certain features are in place, it would be impossible to do so. Will you be adding more "special" features to Designer in the future that compares to Illustrator?

  7. Let me first say that I seriously believe Affinity Photo is an outstanding program in the Photo Editing area. I say this with conviction and based on long experience using programs like Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, and several others, just to name a few. I find that a dedicated photo library is absolutely imperative, especially if you have to handle large volumes of photographs. The above-mentioned programs all have their own libraries and the majority of other programs too, which not only is a great convenience, but a real time saver. So, I vehemently recommend, as a user and objective observer of market trends, that you direct your efforts to achieving, in the very near future, an integrated program that includes a photo library of its own. In this manner I’m sure you would displace the top players in the photo editing category. With my best wishes and please listen to clients like me. John A. Frankel
