  1. Hello! I need some help. I own on windows all three Affinity products: Photo, Designer, and Publisher, which I bought from the Affinity Store. I own all 3 software's. I bought them separately last year; does that mean I have no access to those new updates? I looked in the help menu and couldn't find any updates! I'm confused. Please tell me I'm wrong and that Affinity just didn't throw me from the ship. Is this morally acceptable for a loyal customer who paid for all three Affinity software products? Please tell me I'm wrong and they are still working on it and it's just because of the region or something ! And, if that's the case, does that mean there will never be any updates for me or other users who already purchased all Affinity software separately? Q: 1. Why should I pay twice for the same product to the same company when they specifically stated "free updates for existing users"?Just go to the top ''menu'' press ''help'' and press ''updates''. No more no less. 2. What is V2? Does this also apply to V2 users who, like me, will experience this when V3 is released? Extra money! Those who already paid for V2 are happy and laughing at us; just stop and think for a moment what will happen if V3 comes out. I hope I'm mistaken and just hysterical, but all things considered, it appears that I'm correct. Please correct me! I agree Affinity deserves more extra cash for their hard work, but not from loyalists who have already contributed. I would like to pay extra but backstabbing isn't how you do it. Saying one thing and changing the context isn't right, right? I love you, Affinity, but please don't go to the dark side. Thank you, waiting for your response Affinity team. (This was also posted on the Affinity Facebook thread with no reaction, no hate, no help, and was probably deleted.) just edited because of the rules.

  5. Hi, I was wondering if there were any informations the next affinity photo update. Because I reported a bug a while ago that prevents me from working on affinity photo for digital art, but the next bug fix update still doesn't seem to be coming, which means I still can't use it. In the meantime I end up using Krita, but as I already bought affinity photo and designer as well as brushes for them, it's really frustrating that a bug fix still isn't there for an issue like this
  6. Hi, after the update today I noticed that Unsplash is missing in the Stock Panels of all three apps. Is there a good reason for it or is it a bug? I'm on Windows 10.
  7. Hi guys ! :) I am a IT tech from a State compagny in Quebec city,Canada. Some of our customers recetly bought Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo and we have to check it with some approval rules that our Ministery set. One of these rules are that we have to hide any updates messages that the software pop. We dont want our custumers to update any software when they want it, because they have some restrict permissions on the computer. Is there a way to hide the pop up message that I put in attach files ? Thanks alot and sorry for my bad english ;)

  9. Hello Affinity Community, We hope you kindly accept this suggestion and request, As you know, Affinity has a lot of impact on the people in the Middle East area. Accordingly, It would be quite nice to support the RTL writing direction for languages such as Arabic, Hebrew and Persian. 15. My wife and I both have Designer. I purchased mine through Affinity. She purchased through the Mac App Store. My version is up to date. Her version is 10.7 and does not update if I open from App Store. I sent her a file to work on that will not open because her version is older. What should we do? Also, when I log into the Affinity store, I can not find my purchase under download and keys. I do see it under registered apps but not under orders. Help
  16. hey all! I have a quite urgent question: Today I opened mit afpub file and was surprised that all the linked documents that I have edited many times in publisher are suddenly being overwritten with the original linked documents (all editing gone). This happens a few seconds after opening the file. So in the first seconds you can still see all the edited documents but they are being replaced with the "old" version soon. Is there any way I can stop the replacing with the original documents and keep mit edited ones? 🥺 I still have hope because during the first seconds the edited documents are still visible. but I don't know how to keep them... This has never opened before. I have worked several days on that file and this has never happened before but I have a deadline today... THANK YOU IMG_5840.MOV
  17. I am running W10 on my laptop and my desktop. Desktop updated properly but my laptop must have a conflict as it just fails to run the update. I tried running the update as administrator figuring all of the normal junk that loads might introduce a conflict. Still no go. I have run out of ideas other than tossing the program and seeing if it will load as new from Serif. Any ideas?
  18. I have downloaded the update to Affinity Publisher today 03/12/2019. It has uninstalled the original installed version and the the new install failed. I therefore have no program to use. Would appreciate some constructive help, thanks I have been unable to find any help whatsoever on the forum(s) which appear to have most if not all support option grayed out.

  22. Hello, I am on Windows 10 Home. All three applications have been installed to C:\Program Files\Affinity\ and were then moved to S:\Program Files\Affinity\ After that, C:\Program Files\Affinity\ has been deleted and replaced with a SYMLINK to S:\Program Files\Affinity\. Yesterday I updated Designer to the latest version. The installer first detected the installed program, deleted it, then deleted the SYMLINK and created a folder Affinity in C:\Program Files\. I then did the move again and relinked the folder, this time using a JUNCTION. Today I installed Photo and Publisher, the same thing happened, the JUNCTION got replaced with a physical folder Affinity in C:\Program Files\, though, the Application was found in S:\Program Files\Affinity before update, since it has been deleted from that folder. The report is true for all three applications, Photo, Designer and Publisher. Thanks and greets, Andreas

Date & Time field format options not appearing. Screen and UI corruption (in 1.10.3) on some desktops. App hanging on shutdown due to font cache problem. Resource manager display is sometimes incorrect. Help & localisation improvements. The improvements in 1.10 are listed in some detail in this 1.10.0 Publisher Windows update announcement UPDATING TO THIS VERSION (Free for existing customers) The software version can be seen on the splash screen and the About dialog (in Help > About Affinity Publisher). If you’ve purchased from the Affinity Store— each time you start the Affinity Store software it will check for updates and offer any available update. The latest update will install over the top of any earlier version, with no need to uninstall. You can download the latest installer by logging into the affinity store here and find the order in your account and use the "Download" button in there. Alternatively, this new release (and previous versions of Affinity Publisher for Windows) can be downloaded from this link (that installer is NOT for Windows Store purchases and needs a product key). If you’ve purchased from the Microsoft Store— Microsoft Store updates are done automatically by the operating system (each time you start the application). If this does not happen for you, open the Windows Store app and click the three dots in the top right corner of the app and then go to Downloads and Updates. Click Get Updates. This should hopefully force the update to show.
