  1. I've been putting the iPad version of AP through it's paces, working on the same projects I'd work on on my desktop. Up until yesterday, I've had only a few issue. Now I have a file with several hours invested in, multiple layers, masks, adjustment layers, etc... The file is now unable to save any edits. Specifically, when I make any change to the document regardless of complexity, i.e. just adding a blank layer, the file will not auto-save, allow me to go back to the project gallery, or really do anything. AP will crash instantly the moment I attempt to save or return to the gallery, every time. I thought the file may have been corrupted. Duplicating the file changed nothing. I finally saved the file to iCloud, opened it on my iMac, made a simple edit, saved it back to iCloud and re-imported back to iPad. This seems to have worked for now. I've seen another thread where someone had a similar issue and was able to address it in a similar way. I'd like to hear from the Admins and/or developers on this type if issue, specifically if they are aware and if this is a known bug that is being addressed. I have no problem sending crash data if possible, or the project file itself to the dev team. I won't post the project publicly for copyright reasons. Thanks for any assistance on the matter.
  2. Symbols not staying synchronized, things being duplicated, all without switching off the "Sync" toggle. In the attached screenshot's project file. I only have one symbol, the artboard of which is first in the project list. This is where I've been working, and for the most part things went smoothly. Things started to get wonky when I took the chromosome layer outside the "Inside" (Curves) layer. This hierarchy change caused it to be duplicated (three times?) and out of sync.
  3. AF Photo is continually crashing and has been for some time, have filled out Crash Reports (when it lets me, it usually says the report is unavailable). I have replicated what I am trying to achieve in Photoplus, Cyberlink Photodirector, Adobe, Photopad etc etc...... no problems. The issue has therefore rendered the AF software as unusable and I am frustrated at filling out endless crash reports with my e-mail address and getting no response. When AF Photo does crash it renders the PC in a state of not responding, I can neither screen dump to get an image of the issue, ctrl-alt-delete for task manager or even close the program; the end result is having to do a hard reset. I have tried to upload a sample of the files I am using; all under 4mb; but ironically I am getting 'Upload skipped (error500)......................................
  4. Hello. I'm having crashs in Affinity Photo (1.5.1.54) when I'm doing extensive and complex selections using the pen tool. The application simply closes unexpectedly. When I open it again, it gives the option to open a backup, but the same is always well behind in relation to the point that the application crashed.
  5. Well, I have used Serif products for many years and, until now, been very satisfied. But Affinity Photo is giving me problems and I'm thinking of reverting to PhotoPlus. I have a decently specified laptop running Windows 10 64 bit. My complaints are first that it is very slow to boot up, second and most important, it is unstable and all too often I'm working on a picture and suddenly get the "not responding" message. I have noticed that one of the first indications that the program has stuck is that the crop icon is "faded out". Another thing which may just be a coincidence is that landscape photos seem to be more likely to freeze than, for example, pictures of people. Anybody else have these problems?
