  1. I made the mistake of clicking on the minimization arrow in the Assets Panel because I didn't want to see a sub-Category. Now I cannot open any of the Asset sub-categories, and I need to access something there! I've tried going to Window > Studio, and removing the Window from view & re-adding. I've tried resetting the studio view. I can select nothing in the Assets panel aside from the options and the dropdown to select another category. I've also tried restarting my computer. I'm out of ideas on how to get these to open again. Help! Running Affinity Designer Beta 1.7.0.257 on MacOS 10.14.3.
  2. Hi, I have a problem with Affinity Designer and Photo on Mac. I have difficulty starting a macro in AP. I have the library list open, but clicking does not do anything. Only when I right-click to bring up the options, then click on the button does it do something. I am using a Wacom Intuos 5. I have a simular problem with the assets panel in designer. I have some bigger assets installed, like paper backgrounds, but most of the time can not properly drag them to the canvas. smaller items drag with no problems. It seems to not properly select the bigger ones, or they are unresponsive. I have to keep the assets clicked for a longer time for it to pick up and be able to drag it. Both of these problems occur with the mouse as well. I would like to have an option to click a button to add to canvas instead of dragging, and a simple play button for macros too. It seems to be better UI too, more understandable at least.
  3. after a while only 5- 10 minutes of usage, and with only 2-3 layers it stops working all together and I have to force close it. This is so frustrating, this software is practically unusable for me now.
  4. Hello everyone! Since 1.5, I am experiencing a slowdown when copying data from a layer. For example, when I try to copy data from one layer to another, I will use the following commands in a row, which will result in the beachball being displayed for about 5 to 10 seconds: cmd + a cmd + c cmd + d Is this to be expected? I attached a test image so you can try to reproduce this with the file I used. Best wishes, Shu EDIT: Alright, the upload doesn't seem to be working. I will upload it to my website and try to link it later. EDIT2: Hardware used: 2015 Retina Macbook Pro, 16GB RAM, 2,8GHz i7 Software used: OSX 11.6
  5. Was using the Beta release for Windows Affinity Photo and wasn't having any issues. Today I purchased and installed the non beta 1.5.1 version. I opened up a photo I had been working on and immediately started noticing lag issues. When I try to make a magnetic selection the program will stop responding to me and a white banner will appear across the top saying program not responding. The same thing happens when I try to use the Warp Mesh tool. If I make an adjustment to more than 1 point at a time, the program locks up for about 30 seconds before I can regain control. I don't remember having this issue when I was in Beta test.
  6. Hello all, my app crashed fo an unknown reason and and since then I have not been able to re-open it any more. I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall again several times. I have tried to delete all related AP files. Without success. Each time I try to open the app, I need to force quit, otherwise it eats up all my ressources on my MAC Someone any idea what is wrong and how to solve the issue? Many thanks Chris System macOS Sierra Processor: 3,3 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
  7. Hi all, Please feel free to move this post to appropriate forum. I am completely new to both Affinity and Mac updates. Having purchased and installed Affinity a few days ago, had started using it without problems, yesterday was prompted by iTunes to upgrade to yosemite on mac air. Now Affinity is unresponsive. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now it is showing 'waiting' on the install page. where do i go, people? what should i do?
