Hi, I’m Mike. I recently started using Affinity Publisher to write a self-published tabletop role playing game document. I’ve been encountering a very strange issue with my file sizes. I’ve been using a lot of downloaded fonts and Pixabay imagery in my document and my file size is becoming cartoonishly huge. My problem is this issue remains even when I remove everything but just base Arial text on a white background. What kind of mistake or glitch have I caused that would lead to a single page of nothing but text having an estimated file size of 26+ MB on export?

How do I export with the Export persona? I choose a folder but it never gives me the option of ‘Open’ so I always have to cancel. I can’t even export manually now with this one file. When I go to the export dialogue box, my only option is to export the entire document, not just an Artboard. What am I missing? Or is it a bug with the program? Any help is appreciated. This has never worked (properly) for me since I got the program 6 months ago. Thanks. 5626AEB4-3701-424C-A02B-DF8C72E57294.MP4

Morning All, Please could somebody explain to me why Affinity Publisher keeps shutting down without a cause. I have found myself saving a document every time I've adjusted an image 2mm or done any other minuscule amendment. If i could somehow recover a back- up or better yet, prevent the program from closing all together. This would be a big help. Apologies for the passive aggression, This was written moments after my latest unforeseen closure. Thanks, Dave

Purchased Affinity Photo (v. 1.5.2.69) and tried to install on my Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) laptop. Nothing happens. If I try to install with administrator rights, I do get a dialog box asking if I want to proceed to allow the application to make changes to the system. I click yes, but again nothing more happens. I've looked through the forums but was unable to locate a solution. To be sure, I've downloaded the application twice, and tried starting my computer, but same result. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have run into a problem exporting a file into a format a printer is able to use. Since I'm not a professional designer, there are significant gaps in my knowledge I don't quite know how to articulate and resolve. Please refer to the uploads to help. 1. I created a business card in Affinity (pmb bizcard outside). Problem: I submitted a JPEG of the image to the printer and was told: 2. the file color was saved RGB and needed to be CMYK. I knew there would be color differences between the on screen and printed versions, so I asked the printer to adjust the color to best match the print with the rgb screen. He said he needed an EPS file to do that not a JPEG and he gave me a pantone color book for me to match the cmyk screen colors to the desired print output colors: 3 I did that (PMB bizcart outside cmyk. Ithought it looked awful on screen...like illustration creamed soup.). Once I had the new colors in place I exported the file as an EPS 4. And got this, (PBM Bizcard Outside cmyk. eps) which issues I did not know about when I passed it to the printer...who was so frustrated with it, he got mad at me. I didn't quite understand until I opened the EPS file itself in Affinity to check. What the heck happened, and how do I export into a file format that a professional on Illustrator can manipulate and use? 5. I need a fix to get my original version color corrected and printed by someone who is not just going to upload a JPEG and throw the dice. Any suggestions?
