  1. Hi, It seems to me that the Protect hue option in the Burn and Dodge tools is not working. The result is identical no matter if it's on or off. For comparison, in Photoshop if I turn on this option there's a very clear difference in the result. So is it something with my settings in Affinity Photo or is it a bug? I use the latest official version of Photo. Thanks in advance!
  2. I'm working up a historical starmap for a fan fiction project, with data adapted from Star Trek, and stylistic cues from the old Dent's Canadian/School Atlas' front half material, which was usually produced in black and white with usage of tones and/or spot colours. This is intended to be ink-usage-friendly for other fans' purposes. I expect to creative derivative works devoted to marking systems particularly notable for "key" resources specific to that mythology, and possibly other spin-offs as well. I'm working in Affinity Designer 1.10.6 because that's as far as my hardware and budget will currently allow. I guess I'm looking for additional "tone"/"Style" resources that may be particularly useful for this project. If you have any recommendations...?
  3. I'd like to suggest the curves sub panel under Tones in the Develop Persona have the input / output values displayed for given points. In addition, I'd like this panel to include an 'editor' feature, whereby the option of entering the numerical values for each point on the curve. It would also be appreciated if the x and y axis (0-255) could be delimitated in 10ths like Photoshop. Either replacing quarter tones, or, in addition to the quarter tones. :) Nick
  4. You guys should create a tutorial on how to match the color and tone of any photo because I am completely lost on how to do this on affinity. I can only find videos on how to do this for photoshop which aren't much help. Thanks!
