  1. The opactity changes when I click hold the Paintbucket tool in Affinity Photo 2.2.1, Windows 10.0.19045. If this is intentional, the changes are erratic, because the preview shows a change in fill opacity. Video 2023-10-27 13-37-12.mp4 Steps to reproduce 1. Create a new document 2. Add a pixel layer and make it white 3. Make a selection with a selection tool 4. Activate the Paintbucket tool, select another fill colour, click hold and drag the mouse sideways. 5. Notice the fill tolerance changing erratically and/ or the opacity in the Paintbucket tool changing.
  2. Please add a Dimension tool & document scaling to fully enable technical drawing along with the excellent illustration tools. We could do this manually in the interim if the transform studio displayed more resolution, 3 or 4 decimals should do it. Thanks!
  3. Hey there people! Hope ya'll are safe and sound.. I moved onto Affinity a couple of months back and I've gotta say, it's worth every penny! My problem is that the tolerance of the fill tool in AP automatically goes to 1% when I click to fill USING HUION 640P.. and increases as I slide my pen upwards... However if I fill with the trackpad, it remains the same.. This is really getting on my nerves.. 2nd issue is that right click with the pen doesn't work at all HELP!
  4. It would be great to have a tolerance option for the selection brush. Its pretty hard to drag the brush in some areas. A one click option to select a tolerance would help, same as Photoshop. Unless there is something i am missing.. THanks Gary
  5. Hi! I’m evaluating Affinity Designer as a replacement for Adobe Illustrator and I’m very impressed. However, my main tool would be the vector brush and I’m a bit disappointed with it. I find that Affinity’s vector brush re-interprets my strokes too much. I draw a curve and the resulting stroke gets transformed: it ends up being a bit too flat or a bit too curvy, a bit off. Is there a way to control the brush tool tolerance? In Adobe Illustrator, I can control brush fidelity and smoothness (see screenshot). I would say Affinity Designer’s tool would compare to Illustrator’s brush options set at 5 pixels / 5 %. I prefer setting it at 1 pixel / 1% for higher fidelity. Can something like this be done? (Please note that this doesn’t apply to the pixel brush (Pixel Persona), which follows my strokes precisely.)
  6. Guys, Try pressing the Screen Tolerance slider in the Snapping pop-up window, and you'll see the slider appear but the entire Sanpping panel disappears behind it...
  7. When using the flood select tool, when I set the tolerance and then click on the area to be selected, the tolerance changes all by itself down to 2-4%! I can't get it to stay where I set it. This is on a macbook pro running 10.10.3 ,Affinity ~24665. See: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oc9xcxz0bvz8qtb/Affinity%20Flood%20select%20Problem.mov?dl=0
