  1. Hi, I am studying Affinity publisher online, and currently on a challenge to create a book layout. I have an issue that the online video tutorial didn't run into although I followed the same steps. Why is my TOC appearing this way with each page number appearing as a chapter heading? Please let me know if you need further info to troubleshoot. The page numbers appear as headings also! How do I fix this problem? My steps: Inserted a Frame Text Ticked References Then on the "Table of contents" panel, I clicked on the 3 documents icon.
  2. I added my own Heading 1 & 2 - they didn't update the way I wanted them to in the TOC (heading 2 would not indent under H1) I cleared out all styles not used, and then I only had the two "No Style" left. I tried making the two mentioned, but they would not even populate the TOC, so I reset the whole program via control/start. I thought the reset would have the program's default text styles, and it had nothing but the no style ones. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled - no joy. I had to go back to Quarkxpress as I am on a deadline but would love to use AFPUB. Can anyone help me get the text styles to work properly?
  3. Cannot resolve what is causing the formatting glitch in the TOC. Settings all appear ok as TOC Heading 2. TOC Glitch.pdf
  4. I'm creating a book with various stories. Each story has a title with the same style in order to create a TOC. But when I insert or update the top, it adds additional lines for pages that don't have the style. What am I doing wrong?
  5. Hi, I have just installed the full Affinity Designer software today but can no longer get the Help Table of Contents Menu to display as it did in the trail version. It flashes up for a nano second and then disappears when the Table of Contents button is clicked. I have run a permissions repair and restarted my Mac to no avail. Can anyone help a newbie on a steep learning curve please. Should I try reinstalling AD perhaps? Many thanks if you can help...
