  1. I'm not sure if this is XP-Pen's new driver or Affinity's new update, but I thought I'd mention it here. The 'tilt' brush modifier function does not seem to work in Affinity on my side (even though my tablet definitely supports pen tilt). I've tried it with numerous default and custom Affinity brushes with 'tilt' as a modifier, and the tilting of the pen does not seem to be making any impact on the strokes.
  2. Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to use pressure and tilt simultaneously for controlling brush size? I currently have set up my brush to use tilt for controlling the size, and when I need pressure I turn on the 'force pressure' button, that way I can switch back and forth. However, in Procreate it is possible to use pressure and tilt simultaneously for controlling brush size, so was wondering if Affinity could as well? If not, is there possibly a shortcut or gesture that can be set up for the 'force pressure' button? Louis
  3. I’m considering buying the Huion Inspiroy Q11K V2 Graphic Drawing Tablet. I would appreciate any macOS Catalina/Affinity Photo owners comments concerning this tablet, driver comparability or problems -tilt/pressure. Thank you.
  4. I love the various grids on the crop function in AP, but when you correct image tilt and want to keep as much of the image as possible you have to fiddle with the cropping until you have caught the maximum rectangle. Maybe you already have a function like that hidden somewhere, but if not, it would be great if there was a function which could sense the edge of transparency itself and crop just before that. I would certainly help less gifted people like me :)
  5. I am running Affinity Designer on a Surface Pro (2017). The pen on this device supports pressure and tilt, and Windows 10 comes with a built in sketch application that allows the use of a pencil brush where drawing vertically on the surface produces solid lines and tilting the pen down produces grainy strokes that simulate shading with a real pencil. I am wondering if Affinity Designer supports sketching in this manner. I'd love to be able to sketch on a layer, then switch to another layer and continue sketching. I've found evidence that v1.6 supports the Surface Pen, but no specifics about if tilt is included. I've also found a tutorial that talks about tilt on a Waicom pen, though I'm not sure if this is a compromise or the way that Affinity Designer is meant to support the feature I'm after. Can anyone confirm if Affinity Designer supports sketching like this with the latest Surface Pro and pen, and perhaps point me to a tutorial if there is one?
  6. Hi everyone! Perhaps it's just me, but I can't get wacom's grip pen tilt sensor to work with the brushes. I was trying with the DAUB markers (the one with the "vertical" shape). I can get pressure sensitivity, but no tilt for changing the shape rotation ... Is this possible? Thanks.
