Hi I'm trying to do the Thing in the first Picture, only when i do it, it doesn't work and just shifts the test til after the "indentation". To do it, i made a rectangle, overlapped a circle and boolean cut it away. then i clicked the text icon and selected the shape. The cursor changed to the pentagon what should in my opinion have been the cue that it accepts the shape as the border of the text field. But when i put text in it, it didn't work. What am i doing wrong? Does it only work with objects defined by paths or does it not work on round indentations or have i done something wrong in the process? I'd appreciate any help with this. Hello, I am experiencing an issue with AD 1.5.1.43 on Windows 10 where when I focus Font Size text field on the top bar or on the floating panel and press the down or up keys on the keyboard, it will decrease/increase the font size as expected, but if I press the down or up key again it will move the selected text object down/up instead of decreasing/increasing the font size again. It also happens on all other fields on the floating Character/Font panel. Is this the expected behavior? I would expect it to keep focus so I can play around with font size/kerning/line-height/etc until I am satisfied. Thanks, Fernando -
Hi, all the input fields of the transformation panel in Export Persona do not accept CMD+a to select all. workaround: triple click (but for keyboard users and consistency reasons it would be nice) I even see it as a default behavior to speed up everyones workflow, to select the whole input field content when clicking into a field (as a default for each UI input field) I don't see disadvantages, no one gets hurt. see also: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/24418-workflow-speedup-by-input-field-improvements/ Thanks, Stefan. -
Hi, I often experience that when I want to rename a layer: - I double-click on the layer name then - the text got selected, marked and the mouse cursor appears BUT in that moment (which is immediately after the double click) when I wanna start typing the name field got "closed" as I would have pressed enter or return (and so a wild toggling of several tools begins ... instead of typing the new layer name. It does not occur everytime I do a FAST DOUBLE CLICK on the layer name - but regularly. If I use "click - pause - click" to get into the input field it hasn't happened yet (so this is definitely a good workaround, but it costs more time) Good night, Stefan. AD_Bug_LayerNameField.mov
