  1. I take note of the Brush Customization features in Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher and do appreciate it much, but I am baffled when it comes to making dynamic settings obvious on a canvas when using Wacom's Ciintiq 22. Some dynamic jitters clearly change the display brush stroke, but some do not. And none of them seem to effect the Wacom Pens. What am I missing? Is it that Serif's Affinity products do not interface with Wacom Products? If the two products do interface, how do I set things up so that the Wacom Pen actions reflect the Affinity Dynamic Jitter settings?
  2. This is probably a stupid question, but I want to buy a drawing tablet and wonder if Affinity Software (Mac) is compatible with all tablets on the market. Kind regards, Puck (iMac 2017, 16 GB RAM, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB, MacOS 10.14.3)
  3. Hello, I'm shopping around for my first drawing-display - but I'm trying to do it on a budget so I'm looking at a lot of non-Wacom brands. I've used drawing-tablets for a while now and know that both driver and software support can be pretty hit-or-miss, especially with these less common manufacturers. I'm aware of the difference in hardware on these display-tablets and not looking so much for a comparison of color or contrast or ghosting between them. I'm mostly interested in knowing if pressure-sensitivity works in Affinity Designer with each of these particular tablet drivers. I'd like to know if any of you have experience with any of these brands and how well they work with Affinity Designer Parblo Artisul XP-Pen/Ugee HUION I did use the search bar before writing up this post, of course I know the Parblo Coast pressure sensitivity might not work according to this thread - does anyone know if this is still the case or has the issue been resolved yet? I'm really leaning towards getting a Parblo display, but this would really suck if it didn't work in AD Couldn't find any posts confirming pressure sensitivity worked with Artisul XP-Pen is rebranded Ugee hardware, I believe - and according to this thread their driver completely froze AD. Is this still the case? If not, does pressure-sensitivity work now too? And lastly, it sounds like Huion -might- work but couldn't find confirmation regarding pressure-sensitivity. I know from other software experience that Huion is generally likely to be supported - however it is at the bottom of my list ---- I've got open-ears to other brands of similarly priced drawing-displays, however of the ones I have seen these 4 or 5 seem to be the most bang-for-your buck and also most current.
  4. Hiya, I've got an HP x2210 hybrid tablet and it's running Windows 10 64-bit. I think it has 2GB RAM but I was wondering, will it run Affinity Photo? Thanks!
  5. As a new user of Affinity, I can find posts related to designing on multiple platforms (i.e. using Affinity on different platforms to develop web sites), but not on targeting different platforms (using Affinity to design one web site that is suitable for being browsed on desktops, tablets, mobiles, etc..). Are there any such tutorials / guides / whatever?
  6. Hi folks, I want to purchase a medium sized graphics tablet in the next few weeks and I'm wondering if graphic tables are supported out of the box with all their features like pressure sensitivity, or if any kind of Affinity Photo plugin is needed? The Huion H610 Pro seems to be my favorite choice at the moment - Wacom tablets are too expensive for my use case - the Huion has good reviews (on the Internet) and cost just about 70 Euros here in Germany - i.e. http://goo.gl/yFCpz3 - but I have no cue if the driver support is really sufficient on OS X 10.10. Maybe we can start an overview-thread of supported graphic tablets and their working features here? Bye Martin
