I am attempting to create some custom tab measurements in a document. I found this great tutorial: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/publisher/desktop/video/337313448/ However, My "Frame Text Ruler" is completely MIA?!? I have it selected to appear (screen cap included), however all I see is the little "fi" typography button... nothing more to the right. Running: Mac OS Catalina Vers. 10.15.2, Affinity Publisher 1.7.3 Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I did discover that I can add/adjust tabs in the Paragraph panel under "Tab Stops." However, the functionality of the ruler would be awesome.

I sure hope there is a better way to set tab stops in Affinity Publisher than guessing the measurements? I cant get them to set that way either. I know this is beta but in that case use this as a need for future builds. Thanks -
Using tab stops in Designer is pretty frustrating. I am trying to have tab stops out to 8 in, but right aligned. Half of the time when I press the right align button in the tab stop section of Paragraph pane, it does nothing. How can I get it to consistently work? -
Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the relevant info. I know that most of the advanced text handling was to be released with Affinity Publisher, and I can understand/appreciate why. So I'm just curious, now that Publisher has been delayed for a bit, do you think any of those features will make it into Designer this year? In particular, I'm interested in flowing text between linked text boxes, and optical tab stops. Thanks. -
Regular tab stops do not work exactly. Would be great if AD, APh and AP would be the first apps with a new exact and/or optical tab stop option: Characters would start/end at exactly n mm or without sidebearing. A real USP!
