Please will someone be helpful and advise where and how I get ANY support for Affinity Photo??? I have just spent all morning trying to use 'Free Hand Selection Tool' on a RAW image. Google, Vimeo, Youtube, Affinity Photo WorkBook (I have the hard copy). I've tried to search for some help and, of course there is a wealth of information out there. somewhere. An overwhelming flood of information indeed that gives me answers to every possible conceivable thing I would like to do in Affinity Photo - EXCEPT the one thing I want to know!!! I expect it's out there somewhere but what (in simple words on one syllable please!) is the Affinity suggested route that users go through to get some support from them? How I mourn the passing of the good old days when you could ring and talk to a human being! Affinity, like so many companies today, see customers that would like to actually speak on a phone to them as being a great nuisance that they need protecting from! Rant over and I apologise for the frustrated tone of this post. My only excuse is that I am, well, FRUSTRATED! Someone please bring some clarity to me. -
When will the export persona be available for the ipad version of affinity photo?

Hello Everyone, I bought Affinity for Mac, but have now realized that the computer that I need to install it on from my daughter only has Windows, can I somehow still download the program with my username and email? Thanks for the help!! -
* RESOLVED * I bought Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo by Apple's App Store but I don't think that I have an Affinity Account because when I try to log in or when I try to get another password by "forget my password" the message is that I don't have an account with that email. Thats weird. How can I create my account then? Or how can I fix that? Thanks -

First off, I am using astropad app on my ipad to mirror screen from my mac. I then use the apple pencil to interact with the mirrored screen. Just recently, AD crashes like mad when painting in draw persona with vector. This is the error report. The program crashes when I am vector painting (draw persona) on the iPad. I seem to be able to paint (pixel persona) just fine. What happens is that while vector painting, the whole app will crash. Most of the strokes are not saved, even if I saved just recently. It seems to reset to a previous save, but still preserves a few strokes. Not one particular stroke seems to set it off, it just happens all of a sudden. I can eventually get the vector strokes in, but only after a number of stoke/save/crash/reopen sequences. See attached file for the error report error report.rtf -
Hiya, I'm about to purchase both Affinity photo and designer as I've been very impressed with their performance in the free trial. I'm also considering purchasing a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet and want to know if Wacom support Affinity applications? I'm using an iMac. many thanks Pete -
Hello, I am interested in purchasing Affinity Photo and possibly Affinity Designer. I have some general questions. 1. How many activations are allowed per purchase for personal use? 2. If 2 or more, can one be Window 10 and the other a Mac? 3. Does AP and AD support the Microsoft Surface Pen and Dial? 4. Is there a Workbook for AP (Like the one for AD)? 5. Does AP support or have built-in presets like those on ON1 PhotoRaw? 6. In general, is AP or AD better or easier in Mac or Window? I am debating on changing to Windows because interacting on the screen seems better for fine art photo work. Your opinion will help. Thank you. gene -

Hi! I'm exploring possibilities of AFFINITY PHOTO to get a license, but im checking RAW compatibility list and the new one CANON EOS M6 isn't in the list, and i want to know if this upgrade will be ready soon, cause, i'm not decide wich software use for editing photo yet. Most of the RAW PHOTO EDITORS, didn't have this new compatibility with EOS M6 and M5 like CAPTURE ONE, this morning support team response to my question about this issue and the said: " ...our ambition is to support all top selling high end camera models." ... isn't nice? ...ok. If someone should bring me a light about this issue, will be wellcome! Thanks!

I thinking of buying the Affinity Designer application and I would like to know: - Can I Install in all the computers that I use (at the moment one Desktop and one Laptop)? There is a limit? Or the limit is the user only? - Do you sell direct (meaning not buying in the Apple App Store)? - Do you have special prices for upgrading? - In future minor upgrades it all by the App Store or direct download? - Is there a direct email for support? - How does this work or where can I find more info? I am using Affinity Photo for Windows, version 1.5.1.54, and I cannot get it to recognize an Epson Perfection 2400 Photo flatbed scanner. I do not think the issue is with the computer (Windows 10) because there are two other photo editing programs on this desktop and both allow me to scan in photos. I have also noticed that the import options are limited. Does Affinity Photo support scanning? And if not, are there plans to support scanning? -
Hi everyone, This may seem like a silly question, but I'm having issues exporting an image after editing it. Every time I attempt to save and then export the image, it saves on my desktop as the original unedited image. Here's what I'm doing: After uploading the image to Affinity Persona, I use the selection brush tool to select the desired part of the image that I want to keep, I then use the toggle quick mask tool to add a white background to the image. I then save and export the image to .PNG or .JPEG and both files still save as the original, unedited image instead of the image I edited with the white background. Am I doing something wrong? Hello support of affinity, I work with astronomical images from different astronomical standard digital cooled CCD cameras. She worked with the astronomy standard .fit format. To you plan in the future to supported it? In the attachment you find an example of fit-file. She represented a part of the Andromeda Galaxie in red filter. fit are SW images. To you can than combined images of different filters to obtain a color image. You can open this one file with the free program of the NASA and ESA "fit liberator". You find it under: https://www.spacetelescope.org/projects/fits_liberator/ its works on windows MAC, Linux etc. They are a lot of user they have more interested in your program... I formerly suggested this to the Affinity Team via FB. They told me to post this feature request on the forum, so all other users can vote/comment on this idea. What is it about? Simple: I suggested that Affinity/Serif should found an IRC-Channel for a simple User2User-Support like one would have via twitter or FB. Buddy2Buddy live. Q&A, Exchange of ideas etc.....(maybe separate) One would be able to link to results by posting pastie urls. (pastebin, imagebin, etc.) and so on. I just think this kind of guidance through other users is much more live and to the heart... And in conversations that you have alongside manipulating your pix you might be able to stroke out "errors in reasoning", that may be immanent because you misunderstood things in first or since you did not know something important for your scheme in first place. And there are so many IRC-Applications that would offer much usability(features) for such an user2user support channel. An official channel would be cool, if someone already opened an unofficial "Affinitiy Photo" channel on IRC let me, and the other users know and comment on this post. Thank you!

I'm trying to create something in Affinity Designer, but it's not letting me do anything. It's just failing to open the document. I've tried deleting and re-installing the app, rebooting the computer, everything. I'm on the 10.11 beta, so that might be the reason, but it was working less than a week ago. I'll add a few screenshots. No matter what happens, it just does this. If I try to click anywhere, it makes an error sound. Here's the app icon menu when it's doing this, if it's any help. Eventually this white box appears. I click anywhere and the box disappears. Is it supposed to be a dialog box? It just goes back to the blank background again, but it doesn't make error sounds when I click. -

I making my first book in my life, it is about Origami tutorial, I want to use Affinity Photo and Designer to make my book. Where can I still download the beta app? I can't find an email to ask the support team directly, so I'm resorting to posting this here. Basically, long story short, I downloaded the free trial some time ago, when I was first getting into trying to create digital art. Well, now I've gotten myself a graphics tablet, and would like to try it again, with the graphics tablet. My free trial is obviously over, but I never really got to play around with it in the first place. Hi, Just downloaded the Beta version and noticed that the newer Fuji cameras, X-T1 and X-E2, are not supported yet. Adobe supports the X-Trans sensor, sort of, but with many issues. I think they have settled into it's good enough, but it is not! Do you have plans to fully support the X-Trans sensor? Phase One's Capture Pro 8 does a decent job, but even that could be better. They have stated in the past that they really don't care to do anything regarding Fujifilm cameras so any further development on there part is nonexistent. The Fuji owners of the world are really looking to a good solution. Your thoughts?? Thanks, Rick Lewis -
