  1. Hi, In this Affinity Photo Tutorial I show a typical situation: The photo of the sunrise or sunset has become disappointing compared to reality. Simple techniques are shown here on how to bring back colors and dynamics. The Video-Tutorial has english subtitles. (You can activate english subtitles with the gear icon in the YouTube window.) I wish you fun. Your Affinity Jack
  2. Hi guys, here's a new video about how to create a fake sun in Affinity Photo. You can use this method to make your photo looks more dramatic. I hope you enjoy and learn something new from this video, thank you!
  3. I was wondering if there is a way to remove the ring from sun? I had two layers one with the surface and the other with the prominences and the gain was turned up. I then merged the two images into one.
  4. I took this image years ago on my 7mp phone camera and dug it out of my collection a few days ago. It's my first time editing something with this much colour and I'm still an amature. Thoughts and feedback appreciated!
  5. Made a little poster just for fun, but I like it somehow and wanted to share it. Please leave critics here if you have some
  6. Hello Affinity fans Today I drawn flamingos, interesting long-legged birds. I have made not use of textures, patterns, pixel layers or brushes, I just wanted a very simple illustration, just shapes, pen and gradients. Give a look at the illustration, drawn in Affinity Designer and tell me what do you think, leave your feed backs, write positive and negative The full project here on behance
  7. When I'm editing a sunset photo with people in the foreground I select the sky to enhance colors then I flip my selection to brighten the people & the foreground because that part of the photo is often under exposed. Because I'm editing the two halves of the photo separately, there is often a grey and sometimes neon yellow line that gets created where the two halves of the photo meet (right down the selection line). Is there a best practices way to avoid or fix this issue so it looks less edited? I've noticed even slight enhancements can cause this line. Thanks, I'm new to all things photo editing!
  8. Simple composite of a vintage car on a sunset beach. Using imported brushes to enhance headlights. Reflections on windshield, selection from sky, warp tool to stretch over glass, blend modes and opacity reduction, large soft edge brush with mask to blend edges around wind shield.
  9. Hi all. I've switched over almost completely from Illustrator and other vector graphic programs to Affinity Designer. It's been a much less painful experience that I'd expected, and I've been having a lot of fun with the app's features. Having just finished my first formal concept design for a website's splash page, I thought I'd post it here because...Affinity! Anyway, hope the colours brighten your day!
  10. Did this one mostly in Affinity. Stitched the two different panorama's, and then focus stacked them manually by erasing the background in the foreground image. Rest of it was achieved in Lightroom/NIK Viveza. DuckPondTreeFocusStacked-Edit by Greg Murray, on Flickr
