any hint how we can save or backup all .afdesign files at once? it’s veeery time consuming to save every single file…. alternativ: WHERE on iPad are our works saved/stored? as when i close a document it will be stored automatically! thx for every hint 🙏

I think it would be better if the Beta products could be accessed from the "Your account" button on the Affinity Store (https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/). Seeing that I have multiple addons that I got with V1, the free addons for V2, the software keys for all V1 & V2 products and additional addon purchases, the Beta downloads are now halfway in the list. Wouldn't it be better if you get an additional beta button in the your account button to immediately go to the beta downloads? At least, that would have made it a lot easier to find (and thus easier to participate for new members).

Dear Ladies and Gentleman, Is it necessary to download the ressources bought in the store (brushes, etc.) within each app (Photo, Designer, Publisher)? Some of them are really huge Or is it possible to share the downloaded ressources in any way for the different apps? (Windows-Desktop) Many thanks for an advise! Best regards, Alexander -

I guess the subject says it all. Right now if we get an upgrade it's free because it still hasn't reached 2.0. What happens if we purchase the programs in Windows 10 Store and the update from 1.x to 2.x goes live? Just a question. Because I'm thinking of rebuying the software on Windows 10 Store (for automatic updates). -
I was having an issue with Affinity Photo 1.8.4 and decided to delete it and redownload from my iMac, running Mojave. Exported my macros first, but forgot to export another category. I have CCC clones, so thought I'd just copy the macros over to the new installation, but can't find them and a search has turned up nothing. Any help is much appreciated. -

I have Photo and Designer. I run Catalina on both my desktop and my laptop. These apps showed up to be updated on my laptop but the apps don't show up to be updated ever on my Desktop. I have rebooted. What can I do? Thanks, -John

I bought all 3 Affinity Windows products directly from you, because I didn't know there was a Windows store option. Windows store updates are so much more convenient than a) open app, b) see 'update' message, c) click link and wait for download, d) launch downloaded file, e) click 'yes, update' button, e) click 'done' button. I have a bunch of Windows store apps, and they all get updated for me without fuss (just like my two Affinity iPad apps do). PLEASE let me switch licenses without buying all 3 apps again! -
Hiya gang, I've put photo and designer in my cart, and am ready to check out, but the currency is in Canadian dollars, and I'm wondering if there's a setting I can change to flip it to US dollars. I ask because my bank charges a fee for transactions in different currencies. (I'm in the US.) Thanks! -

Affinity Photo and Designer updates aren't available on Microsoft Store (compared to the downloadable version). When will Serif publish the updated version to Microsoft Store? For example, the difference in Affinity Photo version Microsoft Store: 1.6.5.123 Serif Store: 1.6.5.135 I understand the difference is in the build number. But I also understand that there are stability improvements in this new build. Keen to install the latest version of the product. -
The problem is there is no program that does just the sort and catalog for easy retrieval of assets. DarkTable is great, LightTable, Photos, even Aperture ALL have the premise of doing the photo correction within, and the sorting is a "second thought" as it were. It must be possible if it were implemented: What we would like to see in a Photo Organizational Program: Not a photo manipulator, no adjustments needed = we have programs for that. No need to copy photos into the program, just thumbnails Similar to Apple’s Aperture, but only vaguely similar. Within the Folder of Photos: we create or program creates subfolders as directed. The program is more a script to move photos from the “primary” or “imported” folder where they reside temporally till they are tagged and relocated into the appropriate “home / category” folder. This means that even with the program not running, the user can go to “photos” folder and see the sorted tree of folders; (this is not a clear description) The primary purpose of the program is simply to sort and group into folders and smart collections. Making accessible the original file for manipulation. Ease of locating, and grouping. If Affinity would do this, all documents, videos, as well as photos would be available to sort and group. Projects and tasks, as well as archive, would be made easy and direct.

I was on my kindle fire and I wanted to buy the mac os version of designer and photo. Your store website would only allow me to buy the windows version. The affinity store should allow you to buy either no matter which device you are on. -

I try to cut out desperately the possibility something in a firm aim size. This very simply goes to photo shop element. Problem description: I have a big picture. I have a firm aim format of 768 * 512 pixels with 72 dpi. Now I want to draw up a frame which has exactly this side relation. I would like to position this frame arbitrarily in the picture, or also, propertional increase / reduce around the desired picture area to select and if I these activate then exactly one picture should be also stored away in the size 768 * 512 pixels. With photo shop goes in such a way: Cutting-Tool - input wide in Pixel input height in Pixel- According to frame move - activate - store away - ready. Here with Affiniti photo I have all possible one, however, the desired result does not try done - nevertheless, surely quite simply goes! -
I am wondering if updates are available for the MS Store version of Affinity Photo ( and Designer). Users on Dpreview forum mention updating to AP version 1.6.3 . I am on 1.6.2.97 . Will this update be available to those who purchased from the MS Store? thanks -

I bought Affinity Photo from Microsoft Store and now want to buy Affinity Designer. Should I buy this also from Microsoft Store or can I purchase from Affinity Store? I note, from reading this forum, that I cannot launch Affinity Photo from Lightroom because I bought from Microsoft Store. Hello, I have few questions about buying Affinity Photo on the Microsoft Store. The current deal and automatic updates out of the box are nice, but I don't have a strong trust towards the MS Store and whether it will last or not. 1. Is it possible to use the beta versions posted on the forum if I buy the app through MS Store? 2. Is the MS Store update for the application available right at the moment when the release gets released elsewhere? Or is there some delay? 3. What if MS Store would be discontinued; is there some contigency plan with Affinity, that they would try to transfer our licenses to the version they provide? King regards PK -

I bought it over the AppStore, but I never received an Email to actually make an account for the affinity store and therefore could not download it. I have been trying to find a solution, but I couldn't find one. If you could help me that would be great -
