  1. Prior to creating a new Exposure Stack or HDR Merge, is it necessary to remove noise, and then save in a lossless format such as .tiff? Thanks!
  2. I'm trying to create a photo stack with a shot of the moon, however, the file comes out purple. It doesn't do this with a single file, just when I try to stack multiple images, any ideas on why this is?
  3. Hi there, I'm having an issue to open a stack of Sony RAW files (.ARW by an A7 Mark II - is on the supported device list) to merge exposures. I attached a screenshot of the result. Same appeared when I first simply was opening .ARW files. This was solved by switching the RAW Engine to Apple. Yay! But I am still facing the problem when opening as a stack! Any help is highly appreciated - thank you! Cheers, André
  4. I have just bought Affinity today for stacking astro photo. I try to stack 2 set of photo. It's almost work except over exposure. I have investigate each image and saw that every of them look like the are +EV. You can see in attach file compare between individual open and in stack. Is that about raw conversion ? I have try with Sony A6300 raw and Panasonic GX8 raw which show the same over exposure in stack. s.pdf
  5. Could you please allow items parsed by the Media Browser to be dragged into or added to a new image stack. Items found in the Aperture or Photos library do not seem accessible when creating a new stack, only items/images from normal folders - not databases. Thank you.

  7. hello, my affinity photo 1.4.1 beta 2 crashes when applying a live pinch/punch filter layer to a stack of images. i reproduced the crash multiple times following these steps: 1) create a new stack from ten jpg images 2) apply a highlights/shadows adjustment 3) apply a hsl adjustment 4) apply a live pinch/punch filter layer => crash (before setting the cursors) steps (2) and (3) apparently are not involved, since the crash happens even applying the live pinch/punch filter immediately after the stack is created. the only information i could find in console, that looks related to the crash, is the following line: 10/01/16 17:10:51,793 com.apple.launchd.peruser.502[226]: (com.seriflabs.affinityphoto.beta.109680[86346]) Job appears to have crashed: Segmentation fault: 11 the problem seems not to be related to the number of shots in the stack (i got segfaults with a ten images stack, but also with a two or three images stack). most of the live filters work as expected. i got segfaults with the following live filter layers: - twirl - spherical - pinch/punch - lens distortion - perspective the segfault happens for both mean and median based stacks, i did not try other modes. i run osx 10.9.5 ona quoad core i7 2010 imac with 16gb ram.
