  1. While AP is open one can drag the folders app from the bottom tray and drop the icon on to the open AP. The files folder opens either on the leftmost or rightmost side overlapping AP and covering part of AP’S UI. Many of us use images within the files folder app as reference material and want to have both the files folder as well as AP open at the same time. For anyone using AP and wanting to make a video of the creative process as a tutorial ( using the default video recorder that comes with the IOS, ) this overlapping by the files folder, hiding part of the AP’s UI defeats ,undermines the purpose of the instructional video because part of the UI is hidden. The Procreate app has a simple solution where Procreate and the files folder can be nested side by side or floated on top. This nesting side by side allows for a complete view of Procreate’s UI . If AP were to have this nesting option then there would be no restrictions to making videos about this great app Affinity Photo. Also, perhaps Serif would consider building into the AP app a time lapse recorder which would by default, record the creative process as it develops with the AP app. ( like Procreate) Image 1 AP’s UI Image 2. 2. Hi Guys, The image shows my laptop on the left (the Affinity App) and my display screen on the right (Affinity website), not a biggy just visually out of sync. The blue margin has moved away. Keep up the good work, looks like it's going to be a great product.
  3. In Develop Persona, when using Split Screen in the Details Studio the image is larger in the After side than in the Before size. For me, this makes it harder to evaluate subtle changes. Is this an oversight or am I missing some advantage to the size difference?
  4. Affinity has this very handy split screen preview that is used for filter previews in Photo, Outline Mode in Designer and so on. It would be really cool if there was a way to also enable this for items from both the History and Snapshots panels to compare different states of the document side by side. This would of course be especially beneficial inside of Photo, but I can imagine it could also come in handy in Designer or Publisher.
  5. Hi, I'm completely new to Affinity Photo, so maybe I just can't find the right button ;) Is there a way to have a split screen in the photo persona, like it already exists in the develop persona? I'd really like to compare my edited image to the unedited image like it was imported into the project. This feature was very helpful in Adobe Lightroom (http://www.lifeafterphotoshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/calibration-031.png), which I previously used for my photo editing. And if there is no way to do that in the photo persona, my next question is: WHY??? Thanks! :)
  6. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but as you can see in my profile pic I once figured out the steps it takes to create a sketch from a photo. But now, when I go to View>Outline with the same photo, I get a blank canvas. Can someone help me out? (I'm in pixel mode, but I tried it in regular mode, too.) :)
