  1. I've been using affinity designer since the first beta and I've always found it very fast, I upgraded to version 2. A few days ago I upgraded to version 2.1.0 after 2.0.9 and I found that it slowed down a lot, even just at start-up I calculated almost 2 and a half minutes whereas before it was almost immediate. Does anyone have the same problem? Thanks
  2. Windows 10 - Publisher 1.7.0.133 I have a small Publisher document where I have inserted a simple SVG (Publisher thinks it is another document, don't know if this is relevant). When I try to move the SVG, the App takes a second or more to show the movement and sometimes everything on the canvas windows disappears temporarily. Dragging other items in the document seems to be unaffected. The document contains people's personal information so is there somewhere I can upload it in private so you can look at it?
  3. I have been using Affinity Photo since beta and have recently run into a problem with performance. I noticed this slightly at the beginning of this year and it has become worse as the year has gone on. Once I reach a certain number of layers (7-9) or apply a specific layer adjustment (such as motion blur) it begins to excessively use my cpu. This causes large slow downs and forces me to try and find alternative methods of editing in Affinity. I tried reinstalling without success and have the latest version of all software. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and/or has a solution. I have attached an image as an example. Once I added the motion blur, the cpu usage skyrocketed. I am using a 2017 MacBook Pro (regret buying) with 16gb ram. 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB
  4. After months working with great pleasure creating huge panoramic files ( around 2 Gb each) Affinity Photo suddenly starts to slow down with almost very task. In general my images contain about 15 layers: 3 pixel layers and up to 12 adjustment layers. Maxed-out Mac Mini i7 ( 500 gB SSD HD , 1 Tb Hd , 16 Gb Ram ) - OS-X 10.9 . Affinity version Photo version 1.42 Other applications run fine. I tried to solve with restarts etc. Is there a cache that Affinity uses that might be 'full'? Or any other suggestion?
