The ability to grow or shrink a vector by a defined amount of measurement, ex. pixels, inches, etc. At the moment I have found no option that will do this, and the only way to achieve this is to manually transform it into place, which can be a pain if you are trying to expand a stroke and shrink it inside of a vector, or resize a vector by percentage measurements.

I have included this screen recording demonstrating my issue. I was editing an object using live perspective when I started to zoom back out on the entire photo. When I did, little blocks of it were missing and the checkboxes were showing instead. I closed the app and reloaded it. At first it was fine but when I started to edit, it did it again. In the video, you can see that as I hav the image zoomed out, it is only checks and you can’t see the image. I can zoom in a lot and then slowly zoom out and the image is visible only while my fingers stay on the iPad. All the layers are showing up on the layers window and when I try to use the eye dropper, it still shows the colors. Help?! Thank you, Amber IMG_0181.MP4

In Gimp.app, I can create a shape and then "shrink" it or "grow" it by pixels or inches in place. While I have not exhausted myself in trying to find this feature in Affinity Designer or Photo, I don't think this feature exists. I am requesting that you consider adding these functions in the Affinity apps in the next major update.

I’m not having much success reducing large pano files to small web-size mailable files .... the resamplilng methods given seem to toss out allot of information,, blurring and digitizing details. Is there a way to retain the large file detail, as per PS using bilineal sharpen, etc. Neighboring helps a little, but I’m still blowing out details ... sizing goes from 15,000px wide to 2,000. The original panos look good.

Hi there I just got Affinity Photo after a bad experience with Adobe. I don't use it for Professional photo editing stuff, just the basics, (which is to say I have no idea how to use 90% of the features in this program) and so far I'm having an issue with resizing images. I know you can't resize something to be bigger without distortion, usually. But shrinking? I had to resize an image earlier and the end result was jagged and fuzzy, the quality suffered. I looked in the help files to see which resampling mode to use and was using bilinear. I even tried to crop to a specific constrained size and the end result was still really bad. Is there a trick to this? When I took the same source images into another app and shrank them, they turned out fine. I can upload the images (before / after) if desired.
