  1. I would like to have a layer visibility toggle that toggles layer states between show and hide. In complex layer structures, this helps to see the effect of the current layer. It would help to have a hotkey for this, so I won't have to leave the canvas. I also use Designer as a quick file viewer for large files that I link in. I then need to show/hide certain layers as way to compare and evaluate them. In that case two shortcuts for showing and hiding is not as efficient as a single toggle. Others requested this in support topics, which is why I create this feature request.
  2. Hey Folks! i wanted to ask if there is a way to show which object in publisher already has a hyperlink. So i have many many "Buttons" that are hyperlinked but at some point i don't know which one already has a hyperlink. Is there a way to show it? Or should i make a suggestion? Greetings from Germany Stefan
  3. Is it possible? Like "Path" in Photoshop, would be useful when creating multiple clipping masks.
  4. Hi all, When working with crazy amount of layers (PDF imported in this case) it is much faster to select the object in the canvas and not guessing which one is in the Layer list, but the problem comes when I select the object and I want to see where is that layer in the Layers panel, is there any shortcut or any other way to do this? I hope it makes sense. Cheers, Juan
  5. Hey everyone! It would be useful if there was an option to only show the selected slice. Personally, I need to export slices at full file resolution and having hundreds of slices on top of each other overlaps their header, so I cannot read it. Besides that, I ran into performance problems at about 100 slices, which may be somewhat better without so much overdraw. Best wishes, Shu
  6. Hi! I was wondering if it's possible to see the line you're drwaing when you use the pencil tool. I would like to draw shapes from beginning to end but now I keep getting close but have to connect them manualy - lottawork. Hope the hear something! thnx
  7. Hi! I have just a small question (Affinity Designer): Is there any way to show the brush names permanently inside the preview area (instead of the tooltip)? Right now I have to mouse over all of them to find a brush.. Thank you!
  8. You have to 'Show Grid' then can 'Show Guides'. Cannot show only guides while turn grid off. Just try my file to see the bug. This file has been created by the store version. Thanks :) test_Guide.afdesign
  9. Is their currently any way to isolate objects that you're working on or to hide or lock everything but what you're working on? This workflow is very handy for complex pieces... and I would love to see this as a future feature.
  10. I don't know if this is the right place to post this but. How about a page for your artists to post samples of their work they have done with your software. I don't see any links on your site leading to a page for that.
  11. This is my first post and I would like to say to the Affinity team, way to go on creating a truly promising vector application. I downloaded the trial and I'm still playing around with it to get a feel for it. I have been reading these forums since October. I have been very excited about the possibility of a vector program that can replace Illustrator (without the stupid subscription). I have been enjoying the trial version for the last 3 days. Thanks for making a trial version available. I do have a few requests. I know that you can hide and show items but in Designer but having to go to the Layers menu and then weed through tons of different shapes just to hide and show things takes too long. In Illustrator there is a simple "hide" command and it can be assessed in the menu or by shortcut (command 3), as well as "show all". These two shortcuts alone are a huge time saver. As well in Illustrator you can add the apply the last color or gradient used with a shortcut (the comma key for color and the period key for gradients). I know that Designer has some shortcuts but for me, more is better. They help to save time and time is money. One of the only things I dislike about the program is color selection. Selecting a color and applying a color should be easy but for me it seems very confusing and not at all intuitive in Designer. I don't know if it is only me that thinks this or not but comparing it to Illustrators super easy to use and easy to understand way of applying color and selecting swatches, Designer has some way to go. I'm not saying that the Illustrator way is the best but it is easy to use and very intuitive. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to seeing how Designer develops. I'm also excited about your forth coming photo and layout app as well.
