Hi I would like to be able to convert a pdf (made form InDesign or Scribus) into a Afiinity Publisher file. That would be awesome! Also interesting: converting or importing Scribus files into Affinity Publisher. Both features would release me from InDesign and Scribus completely! Ton

Maybe we should all be looking to PhotoLine, Gimp, Scribus and InkScape for feature inspiration rather than Adobe, Corel and Xara. At least we'd know that the features are possible and available for implementation rather than blocked by a murder of laywers looking for a creative way to crush the little upstart. Any thoughts on this?

Using CSV data in Scribus
Quarian posted a topic in Tutorials (Staff and Customer Created Tutorials)
I realize that this is not a typical Designer or Photo tutorial; however, Designer/Photo content can be created/edited and used within the context of this process. The narrator is creating business cards. A user could create a background in Photo and the logo in Designer and export them to PDF (among other formats) for use in this type of production scenario using Scribus. As I've stated many times before, I use Scribus in conjunction with AD/AP (until Publisher comes out) mainly because Designer and Scribus share the same Color Management engine, LittleCMS. Here's the tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=10&v=kMsRn38TOiQ Hope this helps.
