  1. I have always wanted to do something on the lines of Boris Vallejo, especially the one where the dragon tattoo comes out of the guys arm. And by now I have weaned myself totally off Photoshop and Illustrator.
  2. In my humble opinion the Bugatti 100P was the most beautiful airplane never built. Ettore Bugatti´s 100P was built as an unlimited racer in 1939 and was not completed by the outbreak of the war. It remained in storage until 1971 when it was restored. In 2016 a replica sadly crashed killing the pilot.
  3. The ME 109 was a great warbird to fly, but the narrow spaced landing gear made it very difficult to land. I have had a picture of the ME 109- E in the museum in Schleißheim for a while with the idea of doing a ME with the yellow nose. After getting the wirework done and the basic colouring I went ape with sweet sweet perlin noise to give me that grungy look.
  4. I love the artwork of Roger Dean, so now that I am on furlough leave for the duration here on our plague planet, this is my take on the Dragons of Roger Dean. Juno Reactor on the tunes and a sleepless night. Hope you like.
  5. One thing I loved doing in Photoshop was ice, translucent ice and the best way to do it was with difference clouds, dithering, extruding and the chrome filter. Here in AP I find myself struggling to get the effect I want and I am missing the chrome filter, I simply can´t find a work around that satisfies. But at the moment my biggest ache is when I move the layers, havn´t figured out how to get them where I want without them behaving unexpectedly. Ah well, it´s only day two with AP.
