I am working with texture files for a game that uses an image format that packs channels in a given image file in a strange way, essentially each channel is akin to it's own layer. Pictured in my screenshot is the A (alpha) channel, it makes it seem like this is all that is there, but after speaking with someone else doing the same kind of work with this game's textures, they use GIMP which they said is the only software they know of that can reveal the other channels with this format. They haven't used Affinity Photo and this is my first time working with this format and I would like to know how (if) Affinity Photo handles this format. I have experimented with changing the color profile but I can't seem to get the rest of the texture to reveal its self. Here is a video demonstration they provided of how it is supposed to work: https://gyazo.com/5fbae0474f53d5694840ff2497b50f4c
UI design wishlist
The Bearded Bird posted a topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion PostsHi! I am slowly going from Adobe and Sketch over to Affinity, but have some "hiccups" in features. Some of the features I wish for. 1. RGBa 2. Material design assets 3. padding functions on buttons, so that buttons change size based on the text. 4. A function to add "Symbols" in the Assets panel so that if I change one symbol, they all change. 5. Google Material design color swatches. Someone made this 6. Make assets connect to the Affinity account, so when I use a different computer, all my assets will be there. 7. add new Page presets in the "new document" settings. 8. Flowchart 9. Plugin support 10. export to CSS 11. export to XML 12. copy SVG code 13. Pages 14. Shadow options like they have in the sketch app. BTW! I am now only working on AD and AP! love how my workflow has changed and how much more I get done.
Stamp alpha channel
shushustorm posted a topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion PostsHello everyone! Does anyone know if there is a way in Photo to stamp alpha values? While RGB values will overwhrite A, A does not get picked up by the stamp or it will simply not overwrite RGB. Here are two images to illustrate what I am talking about: Image1, showing where I pick up colors: Image2, showing where I want to stamp: In Image2, parts of the green should be overwritten by alpha ("erased"). If this is currently not supported, could anybody move this to feature requests? Thank you for any help! Best wishes, Shu
