I am using a wacom tablet to draw in Affinity Designer and any time I use the VECTOR BRUSH TOOL and select a Brush Texture (like pencil or acrylic), the Vector Brush Tool is forever stuck on Textures. I cannot get it to return to the default Vector lines without closing the program and re-opening it and it's becoming rather irritating. Can we get this fixed down the line?

If you right-click a swatch and make a copy, then rename the copy, you have two swatches of the same color. AFPUB does not respect their name differences. When you apply the second swatch to an object, and then come back to that object later, it will have reverted to the original swatch and name since the two swatches have the same HSL - the swatch becomes highlighted when you select an object - the wrong swatch. This is a bit problematic if you wish to, say, assign #one swatch to section one of the document and assign #two swatch to section two of the document. The idea would be to come

Hi all, Is there a way to revert a layer that has been converted to mask using Rasterize to Mask into a normal layer? Cheers, Juan

Recently picked up a copy of Affinity photo and though much of the program works like photoshop and was easy to switch to, I found some short cut keys missing which I feel are very important. There are no short cut keys for changing the foreground and background colors to Black and White (Photoshop has the letter D) and there is no short cut for reverting back to the original image (Photoshop has the '\' key).

Hi Suppose I copy and page an image into my affinity photo document. By default it is put on to a new layer of the type "image layer". This is useful because I can shrink the image or stretch it using the move tool and all the original pixels are remembered if I stretch or scale the image again layer later - it is not resampled like Photoshop. My question is, after shrinking the image layer, is it possible to restore it to the original size it was when it was first pasted in to my document? At the moment I can only get it to roughly its original size/aspect ration by guess work. If I

Revert to original file [Designer] I have a file I use over and over to make .jpg face textures for my 3D cartoon figures. I have it set to a base setting no expression. After I change the objects/curves/nodes. (Eyes closed, mouth open, eyebrows raised etc. ) Is there a simple way after exporting as well as saving to revert back to the original base file? ( I save the file so as not to lose my changes due to a freak crash.) Perhaps there isn’t a way to do this, but maybe someone knows a tip or too. or possibly it can be done somehow. Thanks P.S. the entire file is 62MB. a Designer file.

Been playing around with AD for a bit and feel like the zoom tool should be a toggle and revert back to the tool you were using when you invoked the zoom. i.e.:, I'm painting and want to zoom in, I press "Z", zoom in, then I have to reselect the brush tool from the tool bar to resume painting. Could we have a preference to invoke a toggle on the zoom's behaviour?
