  1. I am not able to finish a mask when in refine edges as the mask disappears and saves I have made are lost. When I close and reopen a lot of the masking touchups are not there and sometimes the mask reverts to the original version. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks Aidren
  2. Hello, on PC, when I try to refine the edges of a selection to get a nice clean edge using the smooth function, it wants to remove the corners of the rectangluar shape (piece of art) I'm working on. How do I get a clean edge without loosing corners? thanks much
  3. I'm pretty new and am beginning to create artwork for t-shirts. But I'm actually scanning in hand-drawn pen and ink artwork and then cleaning it up in Affinity Photo. I can get rid of the background with the selection tool, but realized today that there are remnants left on the edges and am not sure how to clean this up. I don't need it to be completely crisp and clean. But these light remnants look awful when the artwork is on a colored background. I've attached three screenshots: 1. Edges.jpg shows the "halo" around the edges. I want to eliminate the light color on the outer and inner edges (not the gold fill inside). 2. & 3. Edges2.jpg and Edges3.jpg show examples clearly with black and red ink and the remnants. Can you please tell me how to fix this? Thanks for your help. Susan
  4. Hi, We have a logo watermark that we use in our videos that is on a transparent background. The edges of the image appear slightly rough, and I am wondering if there is a way to smooth these out so the image has a more polished and finished look? Thanks in advance
  5. Hi, There's still an issue with the refined edges function. When saving the output of the refined mask to New Layer with Mask, it adds a blur to it. When I output to only a mask, the output is finally the same as the preview image. Please see the attached screenshot. Also, when using the matte brush, the selection is really soft even though I've set the Smooth and Feather options to 0. Please take a look at the attached video. refine-mask.mov
