  1. Friends, Colleagues, Esteemed Strangers, You may be aware of the exciting world of print-on-demand(POD) art services. If you are, then you know that while they are a great means of making a passive income, properly sizing artwork for each product offered by a platform can be tedious and time-consuming. It is for this reason that I offer the following template. This Affinity template makes use of artboards and symbols to automatically scale your designs to every product offered by the Redbubble website to safe you time and annoyance. Simply edit the models at the top of the canvas and the template will do the rest! You can also use the export persona to export every product design at once. (Note, the default filepath is "./placeholder_productRenders/PRODUCTNAMEHERE.png" because there is not a way to make a "filename" variable yet in Affinity Designer. 2. Hello fellow Affinity aficionados, in continuing my scooter series for Redbubble, here is my second retro styled scooter/travel poster. This time a Lambretta featuring a young couple scootering about Paris in the fall. All done in Designer 1.6 Check it out on my Redbubble site as well. https://www.redbubble.com/people/kevincreative/works/29498216-retro-lambretta-scooter?c=706027-wheels
  3. Hey all, in continuing my scooter series for Redbubble, here is a retro styled Vespa/travel poster look featuring a scootering lady about Rome. Lambretta will be next in the series. All done in Designer 1.6 Check it out on my Redbubble site as well. https://www.redbubble.com/people/kevincreative/works/29083512-retro-vespa-scooter?asc=u&ref=recent-owner
  4. Time to hit the open road! Hi all, here are a couple of recent fun designs for my Redbubble store. Created in Designer 1.6 b4. I wanted to try something different with a mostly all line line style for a slightly more sophisticated look for products and clothing. The new lock and hide features really came in handy on this piece. If you're a Vespa or Lambretta fan you'll notice that the logos aren't exactly accurate. To avoid treading on any copyright issues I recreated and designed my own similar versions from scratch for these. Another aspect made easy in Designer. :-) More views at my store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/kevincreative?asc=u Vroom!!
  5. Something I came up with in Designer a couple of weeks ago to wear on July 1st, Canada's150th birthday. Uploaded to my Redbubble store. ;-) https://www.redbubble.com/people/kevincreative/works/26662727-red-in-my-blood-canada-150?asc=u&ref=recent-owner Happy 150 Canada!
  6. I am trying to use a PSD template. Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo both open the document. It is a template meant to show how my png files will look on tshirts and other items I sell on redbubble.com. The tutorial they have is on Photoshop. I cannot recreate what the video shows on either Affinity product. Help? The document has a layer that you are supposed to click on to open an embedded document which will be your png or jpeg design. They describe it as a smart layer. It says to replace what is in that layer with your design. Usually what is in the layer says "Your artwork here." I cannot figure out a way to do that. Here is the link to the documents and video tutorial. I hope someone can help me. Otherwise, does anyone know of a tutorial I could follow to do the same thing on either Affinity Product? Showing what a design would look like on a t-shirt or other item? http://blog.redbubble.com/2016/09/introducing-artist-promotional-templates/ http://blog.redbubble.com/2016/09/introducing-artist-promotional-templates/ RB_Unisex_Shirt_template.psd RB_Laptop_Template.psd
