  1. Greetings, I need help recover a .afphoto file, too ^^ I saved it at the wrong place... 1. Which Operating System are you using? Win 10 2. 2. I've been working all day on a project when I opened another eps file. I wanted to see if I could grab a part of that design to add to mine in progress. Before I started to alter it, I hit save. For some reason, it did not save but instead crashed and shut down the whole program. I figured I wouldn't lose much and it would recover when it reopened. That is the way almost all of my other graphics programs work. But it didn't offer a recover option. In fact, after it didn't I looked around to see what the save interval was set to. It looks like there is a save set to 300 seconds. So if it is auto saving. Where is my file? Why didn't the program offer to recover it? I got a white text box just before the program shut itself down that said it got an exception error and it would give me something - details? But it didn't do that either. So I don't know what made it crash or if I am going to have to give up on the project I was doing since it would take me too long to recreate it all. Yes, I did save a part way done version but the last bit I did was really fiddly and not sure it is worth my time to redo at this point.
  3. I did not save a recent affinity designer file. Where would I find the recovered version of the file? I had saved a png of the file, but I no longer have the original file, except for the recovered versions.
  4. Hello, I have an urgent request: Affinity Photo, as good as it is, should handle a software crash and being able to recover even unsaved projects. I already lost hours of work because of this missing feature. I use Lightroom as main raw developing software (AP isn't that good yet tbh) and link it to Affinity Photo, so the edited product when I close Photo will be in Lightroom for the final touches. Except when Affinity Photo decides to crash for no good reason (like while making a selection)... then everything done in Photo is lost instantly. I expect that when I restart Affinity Photo it tells me "sorry I crashed but I am able to recover the last projects you were working on if you wish so and tell my developers what happened so that they can fix me". Thank you very much! Best regards, r.v.
  5. I would like you to imitate History from photoshop by adding an anchor where you want stay then you can go back and do whatever you like and you still have the option to go to the marked step. Something horrible happened to me today, I just went back in history like 5 hours of work, and then I did accidentally a change in the document and I couldn't go back to the current step, the document autosaved and I couldn't recover my work. I think you need to improve the way documents are autosaved. I like how Apple Motion 5 has a backup history.
