  1. Designer was open for hours yesterday, it just got slow, slower and then time to close and open. This has persisted since v2 was released. Please FIX! was taken 3 secs to select new object. Close and reopen software and problem is gone for a short while. Gary
  2. My Windows 10 computer reboots when using Affinity Publisher. Maybe 40-60 minutes into the session. It has never rebooted unexpectably before. I am only working with master pages and pages having text only. Found one post a few days ago that suggested to set the display to the one we use instead of Windows default, that has been done. Still reboots. Also, the first time this happened there was a recovery file saved so I could restore unsaved changes. Since that first time no recovery file has shown up. Is this a setting somewhere? Thank you.
  3. My photo refused to open anything this morning. Ver 1.7.2.471, windows 10. Noticed when I tried to open an image "open with" Affinity Photo it started to launch then just closed. I then opened photo and it launched OK but then closed as soon as I tried to start a new project. I often leave my PC on and rather let the PC "sleep" than shut down. When I couldn't fix the error, I rebooted my PC and all started to work normally. Photo now OK.
  4. Hello I just downloaded the latest version of publisher and started the installation. As I often do I let installations do their thing on the background and I do other things, but while I was working on something else the installation finished and suddenly I got a "restarting" windows 10 screen! What I lost is minimal but shouldn't there be a warning or something? I didn't even got a "setup finished please restart" or "system restart is required". It just restarted.
  5. I've just bought and downloaded Affinity Designer for Windows. Whenever I try to run the installer I get this message: "Setup cannot continue because a previous installation requires your computer to be restarted. Please restart your computer and rerun Setup." I have now restarted my computer twice since then and I still get the message when I run Setup. Since getting this error I have also successfully installed the Public Beta of Affinity Designer, restarted, run it (got the beta ended message), then uninstalled it. But subsequently, when running the full version Setup I still get the same error message. Any help gratefully received. :(
  6. Hi! I was excited to lay my hands on Affinity photo. I enjoyed the other program, so I gave it a try. I was interested especially lighting effects and other stuff. To my dissapointment, it isn't too stable yet. Hard to find out how to move lighting source after I gave more than one to the picture. The lighting sometimes moves around without any reason. But always I tried, after I delete one lightsource and wish to use one only, the program crashes under Windows 10. Every single time. So is it the win or something else...?
