  1. If I search for "find this text" with the opening and closing quotation marks, the cross reference search does not find any paragraphs associated with them. 2024-03-10 16-49-54.mp4 Nor does it find the text without the quotation marks. 2024-03-10 16-52-52.mp4 The current workaround is to add other text in front and to delete it thereafter. Should be simple enough to reproduce, you can copy the "find this text" line from the forums to test with. It is in Affinity Publisher 2.4.0, Windows 10. Cross-reference cut paste.afpub
  2. Windows 10 20H2 build 19042.964; Affinity Publisher 1.9.2.1035 I am trying to do something that seems very straightforward, but I am hitting a wall that might be a bug. Below you see text with a "quotation" paragraph style applied. Each line is a separate "paragraph", and two lines are indented even further. No problems there. The problem is with the "optical alignment" and the quotation mark. I clicked "add" below to show the values being used. My desire is for all the letters W to be perfectly aligned, and to have the quotation mark floating on the left. I assumed that having a value of Left 100% would accomplish that, but no. The dialog won't let me increase beyond 100, and it will not let me manually type a value larger than 100. Any suggestions, short of manually fiddling with the indentation for these sort of poems/quotations? As a minimum, I would have liked the optical alignment to allow me to set a value where the character completely disappears into the margin...
  3. Hi! I'm not really sure if it's a bug, but I adjusted my Publisher some minutes ago to replace the english quotation marks by the german ones, and I really suffered by doing it for a long time, because at first it didn't seem to work. As I finally found out, it only didn't work, because I used fill text to test it. As I tested it with german text it suddenly worked verry well. So, for me the problem is solved. Not a big issue. I only post this here, because I'm not sure if it is meant to be this way, and I imagine, that possibly other users may stuck with the same problem.
