  1. Hi guys Please increase the max value in "Field of View" in Layers / Live Projection / Equirectangular Projection. Why explains the video: Wider Field of View necessary (please see attachment or unlisted YT link) Thanks for implementing/changing that max. value. Best regards, Roland Drone_Hole_Affinity_Photo-FHD.mov
  2. Sorry if this has been discussed before. As a "traditional" technical illustrator, i.e. I learned on a drawing board, I am confused about how the isometric tools are supposed to work. I understand the basics but am confused with the results. I am using a 15° x 15° dimetric here. Traditional illustration states that with an ON AXIS ellipse the minor axis should be at a 15° angle (parallel with the drawing plane) with the major axis perpendicular to the minor axis. When I use the isometric tool this does not happen. (see the attachment please). There is some skewing or somewhat perspective type of adjustments being made here that is not making sense to me. Perhaps there is someone out there with a similar background as myself that could please explain to me the expectation of this tool? Note: In the attached example the image on the right started as a 2D image, I then used the Fit to plane command to create the final position.
  3. Hello! I wanted to ask you if there is a magical tool, which can remove rainbow colour, stripe noise, if you take a picture of a projection. Perhaps I need to try to reduce that while taking picture but if there is a way to get rid of these afterwhile (raw or jpg), I´m more than super happy. Thank you in advance! Best
  4. Hi folks, I would like to insert a freely composed image in another picture wiith the perspective projection feature on iPad Air 2, newest app version. Unfortunately I've been not successful after tying for one or two hours. When I mark an area with the perspective projection function and zoom in with the hand tool, I can draw freely and everything works fine after tapping perspective projection again. But this does not work with objects like pasted images or rectangles whose always get inserted in new layers. When I group the layers and rssterize them to one I am not able to reset the zoom mode. Is there any possibility for doing that in the iOS version? I wish you a beautiful snowy Advent Sunday!
  5. When zoomed in on a photo and I click and drag the image the image moves with the mouse. That is, if I drag the mouse the the left the image moves to the left. Let's say there is an object in an image and I want that object to be in the center of my screen then I simply click on the object in the image and drag the object to the center of the screen. This is good. This is the expected behaviour. However, when editing in an Equirectangular Projection (Live Projection) when I drag the mouse to the left the image goes to the right. If I drag up the object goes down. So if there is a object I want to center on my screen if I drag the object to the center the object actually goes the opposite direction. So some people might like this opposite direction behaviour and that's their choice. I would like it that I can select which direction the image moves when I click and drag the image when editing an Equirectangular Projection. Basically I want the click and drag to work just like normal. Click and drag an object upwards moves object upwards. This could be a selection under preferences > User Interface > Equirectangular Projection Reverse Mouse Direction OR use a modifier key such as alt or option. Thanks millions if you can make this happen. AffinityPhotoEquirectangular.mp4
  6. Hi there, I'd like to project a logo on a surface. I know what I want in my mind, just have a hard time finding the right tool in AD. It seems AD can do it, at least that's what the supercool AD 1.5 overview vid shows at around 1:10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLqlFpfHO30 Is there any tutorial that shows how to do so? Thanx!
  7. Hi all, I am looking for topics on Parallel Projections. What I was hoping to find was a method of drawing on axis. Example: with the isometric grid on, select the left side and draw a circle. Because you are in isometric mode your circle shows as an ellipse. I have been able to find the topic in Help, but that didn't "help". Thanks in advance.
  8. Can anyone tell me the resampling method I should use for projected images?
