  1. When I print any file I need to keep the print settings embedded in it, so that in future I can print exactly the same image at the same media settings on the same paper at the same size. Photoshop embeds this information within the file, so that whatever device I print from, years hence it will remain the same. This is vital for limited edition prints and for all my client's work when they reorder prints. I cannot go back through files twenty years old and recreate this without the data being embedded. I don't think this would be difficult to achieve and I see that users of Publisher have asked for the same feature. Please may we have it so that I can stop giving money to Adobe for their overpriced, bloated cash-cow.
  2. I'm having serious issues printing borderless, and I don't know if it's my printer (canon 5150) or affinity. I've tried both photo and designer. I feel like i've tried all settings and it keeps coming out with a white border. I've tried scaling up, and the border stays the same. It worked once, without me changing any settings. I also had this issue a month ago, and it just fixed itself. When i first created this item it printed with no problems. The colours are also coming out 2 shades lighter. I urgently need this sorting, it's for a paid job, (I'm a small business artist) and it's needs going in the post within the next day or 2 min. Can anyone help please? Am i doing something wrong? EDIT - it's just started working despite not changing the settings again. I've saved these as presets, hopefully it works next time. Still looking for help on whether this could be an affinity issue, or maybe my printer?
  3. I just upgraded macOS from 10.12.6 to 10.13.6. Since then I haven't used Affinity Photo. Today, I discovered that the printer profiles for my Canon PRO-1000 no longer appear in the list that the Softproof adjustment layer displays. They do appears in the usual macOS print dialog, and I see them in /Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/Resources/ICCProfiles/PRO1000series.canonicc/Contents/Resources. Where is Softproof expecting those profiles? If where they are, why am I not seeing them in the Softproof dropdown?
  4. I want to resize a TIFF image to use as a target to test existing printer drivers with a new photo paper, prior to creating a printer profile. The test TIFF image I want to use has no assigned profile, i.e. not sRGB, Adobe 1998 etc. I wish to resize it in Affinity Photo then export it again as a TIFF image. As soon as it is loaded, Affinity adds "Assigned Profile (Adobe 1998)....to this unprofiled document". My question is how can I export it without any colour enhancement being applied? Thanks for any help.
