Every time I see help re: changing fundamentals the path starts with "go to "Preferences>...." eg: The second way to access the Preference Panel is through the Edit menu. Go to the Edit menu > Preferences." - and yet there doesn't seem to be anything called "Preferences". There's definetly notnig in teh Edit menu. Ctrl comma (said to open prefenences in various YT videos) opens "settings". Is this a different dialogue? Did they change the name from "prefenences" to "Settings" and all the help is now out of date? Some advice also says you can get to Preferences panel by opening a doc but that's also not called "preferences" - and isn't the same menu as Settings. Extremely confusing in software with this many dialogues.

Hi, I've checked around the forum and I've seen this question come up before, so I'll mention it again. Can we please have the ability to have "Save History with Document" as a default in app preferences. I like to have my history saved with my work so I can backtrack if I don't like something in the future, and often forget to click it before I save. Thanks!

It would be really nice if you wrote some new code to provide me with a radio button on the "Save history with Document" function that enables me to elect "Don't show this again". After you have elected yes or no in this dialog box, it becomes irritating to keep confirming that you want to "Save history with document" It would be helpful as well if I could elect this function in app preferences.

Hi Affinity team, I don't know what is the best set-up (Designer and Photo) to use with my hardware : MacBook Pro 9,1 - i7 2,6Ghz - 8Go Ram - nVidia GeForce GT650M 1Go + Intel HD4000 OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 I don't find any informations to understand what could be the best preferences I've to select for my kind of hardware. For the moment I've selected both and I got less "ventilation panic", but is it the best thing to do ? According to me, there is a lack of information on some options in the prefs. panels. Thanks by advance for your answers.
